I have a current Wincustomize Sub, but I cannot customize the menu in the explore menu like I used to be able to. Anyone know why?
I guess I was confused; I was thinking that it was a weather skin I was trying to download, as it is uploaded under Desktop Gadgets, but it's really for the old Yahoo widget platform widgetsus.exe, which I already had. By the way, when I load Yahoo widgets, the weather widget does not work for me; I cannot change location, and even the default location is not showing weather information. If this refers to the the widget created <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255
Great to know it's not just me. Thanks, Abisnabidam.
Hi Doc, I tried with Brave and with Edge, and the result was the same.
Is anyone else experiencing a 400 bad request Cloudflare error when trying to download from WinCustomize? I am trying to figure out if it's a site issue or on my end. I have cleared cookies and site data and flushed my DNS cache, signed out of Wincustomize, and restarted my computer with the same results. OK, I just discovered that it might only be with the recent Yahoo Widget v.452 multi; for some reason I am unable to download that. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/39/20/3920
I tested on my Windows 10 VM and it look like I still can change it. But, do note that I am not at the latest Windows 10 OS Build. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
Yes, but that is for a shortcut, not for the program .exe file. For example, I installed a portable version of Foobar2000; inside the program folder, there is a Foobar2000.exe file to launch the program;
I don't remember being able to change icons for .exe files; I was only able to change them for shortcuts. I changed icons for .exe files in the past using Resource Hacker. I can still change shortcut icons on Windows IoT Enterprise edition.
I might be worse off than any of you. I have an older HP computer running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC. I have not had the desire or need to buy a new computer because what I have works well. I just tried to enable secure boot in the BIOS, but when I did, the computer would not boot at all. What made my attempt even worse was that after enabling secure boot, my display drivers would not load and the computer would just send a flickering screen to my monitor. Luckily, I had enough s
xWidget has been mentioned a couple of times; just so people know, xWidget has been dead for years, as the developer, Tony, has been MIA. As someone who has made over a hundred xWidget widgets, I still use it, but the weather no longer works, so I have been using Rainmeter for weather, which I don't like all that much because of the boring weather backgrounds, but for those who don't care about what it looks like and just want the info, Rainmeter is working well, at least in my neck of the wo
I cannot reproduce that issue, but I am using Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC. I am using WB 11.07, though, and when I double-click a video file, VLC opens and plays it normally. I know my reply does not help you, but it might help support if it is version-related, I doubt it is, but we are talking about Microsoft.
You kinda of answered your question when you said "not compatible." MyColors servers are dead so you cannot install them even if the themes were compatible with W11 (at least the traditional way). That being said, I have had varying success using them on W10 with extracting the theme file with 7zip and installing the app themes individually. Worked sometimes with W10, but I don't know how well that will work with W11.
lethalman4000, what basj and I are trying to tell you is that you have too many icons on the dock, once the dock reaches the edges of the screen, you can no longer make them larger. I made a YouTube video to show what we are talking about, notice that when my dock is expanded all the way to the edges with a lot of icons on the dock, the icons can no longer be resized larger.
I've done that but no difference mate thanks for your help bro
That setting works, it might be because you have too many shortcuts on your dock that it spans the entire screen so it's unable to make those icons larger.

I have been using Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 for a few days and it runs a little faster without all the bloatware. This is a screenshot after the new install, a bonus is that I can use Windows 10 with security updates until 2032.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced issues with hiding quick access icons using Start 11? I have "Never show icons" selected, but they are still displayed on the start menu. I know that I will likely be asked this, Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.5854, Start 11 version 2.08, I guess it's not the latest build and I don't want to update to have that option work, it's the only issue I have experienced and it's not a big deal, that being said, I would like to get rid of
