You don't seem to be able to customize ships; oh how I wish you could. I also looked for the 'media packs' 1-2 to add the entire racial animation to trade screen etc for a few races. I wish I knew how to mod so I could fix things. Any idea if this Babylon 5 mod will be picked up again and polished? Would be nice if so.

Figured it out, deleted sig.bin in regular gc2 folder + C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Twighlight and used that whole gc2ulitimate.zip download / extracted into the Wighlight folder. Hooray now stardock account registration is finally showing up. (Funny this happened to me in November of 2011 and it's STILL an issue with everyone lol...)
They should... but when I open the game and try to click "metaverse" it tells me there's nothing in the registry x.x

I redownloaded them via the Gamestop app. Now... it says that I can't use the metaverse etc as I haven't registered... Stardock still offers support for these issues as previously evidenced and I'm sure Impulse / Gamestop would probably have these issues ironed over. Though many and even such as myself would almost most certainly prefer downloading directly from Stardock. Search your system for "TALaunch"(In your twighlight folder) should allow you to switch between "Chapters" aka the different version of the game you should have granted you bought Ultimate. Also I hope this helps as I bought all my copies separately ages ago so I'm not sure if it works that way for Steam versions though it should. So give it a try and good luck!

Okay I've finally got the stardock registration screen up, i back tracked; something was preventing me from extracting that thing gc2metaverseremove.zip and what I did was moved it to a different folder, extracted copied the files myself then went to C:\ProgramData and then the Twighlight folder and deleted sig.bin Problem solved. Wonder if it's anything to do with the somewhat now annoying Gamestop "Gamestop Helper" which to be honest sounds more like malware than some honest program
Seems GC2 dreadlords gets the metaverse screen up fine...so does dark avatar but twighlight is now still no dice. Even restored the issue that seemed to have started my inability to even launch twighlight and of course no dice x.x
I've tried... still asks me to reinstall using SDCentral. Would love to throw some magic powder on this problem and have it go away x.x
I've tried a couple of the suggestions and nothing has worked for me. In fact now I'm locked out of even starting the game from deleting my sig.bin in app data all etc for gc twighlight the game did not ask me for registration but instead I'm locked out and it's asking me to reinstal using stardock central; does that still exist even? Would be much simpler if this just simply worked through a simple update once again perhaps reverse engineering whatever it was that cau

How old are you? I think at around 18+ you can go to like a Shoppers Drugmart or a local store and get a pre-paid pre-loaded credit card so you could buy it online.
People get banned for no reason, people even get banned because they're do-gooders. It's the way life is... one good turn deserves another right?
It's happened to me as well just so you know you'r not the only one. Just cancel download close SDC restart the program and retry but try not to excessively click the update button :P
