Great one of those Law laywers that clog downs our RPg games...
Yeah, for CGI, it actually looks "realistic" instead of some Na'vi BS

Yeah well...the Imperium's fear of technology (due to the 10 000 years living as Techno-barbarians), research, experimentation and scientific method, thier whole technological base sit on the STCs (Standard Template construct), which is partially why not every guardsmen in the Imperial guard doesn't have power armour and super powerful weapon. The STCs are actually some manifacturing machine/engeneering schematics. Back in the good ol' days before
I put Ion engines on all my vessels; with that they are just a little faster than the AI's ships. and with some defences, but no shields. Until now, it seems in fleet combat, my Mercury corvette don't get fired at all; like the AI's concentrating on my 2-3 Mars Class Fregates with the missilesAnd for non-combat ships going into combat, I do use my Mercury-Class corvette with a Fleet Warp bubble (Terran tech), and it rarely gets shot; the AI seems to concentrate fire on my
Its a lore issue, because yeah they are cool. The Dark Dragons were lost in a warp storm on their home planet not long after the Heresy. During that time they made contact with an ancient race that had a dragon-like appearance and abilities (like fire breath). The race felt that the time of Man was ascending and so pledged to help the Space Marines. Much of their tech was fire based, hence the Space Marines adopted much of their tech to t

Yeah, real humans doing a Genetically-engineered Super Human's job. Suck on those Steel Balls, Space Marysues!
yeah IG has crappy melee they are guns, guns, guns, tanks, guns, tanks, guns, more tanks, more guns, a melee, guns, tanks, you get the point so yeah if you can get inside their lines with melee bye bye IG
I dunno..in DoW, melee IG is a good thing at the start..send oen squad in melee, 2 to fire at everything..at least you won't have morale breaks every 2 seconds
With the price of Arty, I rarely have more than 2..even less since my melee squads generally gets killed by arty fire
letsee... a few is three, so that's three vehicles, two squads, 2-3 more vehicles, 1-2 ore vehicles and one last for fun. That's 9-11 units. I have 2-3 squads (yes, Ogryn are fun), and an engineer to produce new turrets as I move, with three artillery units. That's 6-7 units. Much less doing the same job, PLUS if I came against that Iron Fist Army, I could always just turtle long enough to make my own Iron Fist AND give them the artillery
Artillery? Pfff...please, a few Chimera filled with squads (1 with ogryns+Priest+ command Squad) 2-3 Sentinels, 1-2 hellhounds, maybe a russ..and you got an Iron Fist Army. and yeah- damn forusm are crashinge verytime I post
Banned for bringing religion into the lot CATHOLIC FTW

Banned for not saying NWN II
nah- just that a sniper's range is far, far FAR grater than let's say, a guardsman with his Lasgun. short of having a specialist squad (wiht the IG) you cna add a sniepr rifle in a squad as special weapon instead of a flamer or grenade launcher
I Counter-BAN!
Yeah- standard tactics is to use the Kroots as meat shield to protect your firewarriors- or drop those and take some 'eavy armour
And it doubles as a troop transport as well
