Quoting Grove12345, reply 11But OMG the MMO 40k looks amazing. They always look that way early in development. Usually it's a couple months after it's released that people discover there isn't a very good game under all the shiny. See: Warhammer Online.
According to sites it's scheduled to laucnch in August this year...so it's more some late sneak peek it seems. Just hope thye make a b

Yeah, the only thing Ig got for them are the Grenade launchers...good when you're facing off the Sisters of Battle and the other guy goes with the "All Heavy Bolter" approach..distrup them like there's no tomorrow

I saw the zzapp gun in the Orc Codex. anti-Vehicular, with a rnadom dice roll to see if it blowes uyp or not

In the space marines campaign (the first cmapaing wiht the first gmae) you get to control 3-4 IG squads: IIRC, you could add flamers and rocket launchers on those troops. Of coruse they removes all of that with only the grenade launcher and plasma gun for some dumb "Balance" reason..hell DoW1, unpatched, you can add Zzzzap gunz to your Orc squads...first patch comes around..none of that

Well, some people are easely folled, not to mention gullible, to believe anything some cEO tells them..jsut add a "It's fo rthe players and customers" at the end and some will go "Hey, he's all right after all!"

Side note- I hate it when the loading videos with all the companies name CAN'T BE SKIPPED until the EA logo passes on the screen....nothign to do with that, just..pisses me off looking at the 10-15 seconds of dumb ass intro

How about I buy the gmae, install it play it multi-player, then uninstall it (for whatever reason0 then re-install it later to multi-play..what now? Do I have to cough up 10$?

Well, it's not like FPS have alot of options for playability: short of doing some System Shock/Deus Ex wannabes (and not "dumbed down" a la Bioshock)it'll still be the old "get gun, shoot stuff, get Red key, open Red Door, get bigger gun, shoot more bad guys" routine, short of, as said, flashy Graphics and nicer animations. Or just add more into story and intergration within the game universe, like no crosshair (worked on some, didn't on others- like Gears of War) and such- Call of Ct

Impulse doesn't need to be open to be able to play the games you bought off them. And for me, the new Steam is horrible; can't open a new window in my browser, the game lists can't be long (limitted to 10 each click..and if you open a game on page 40, well you're back at page 1 and got to scroll aaaallll the way to page 41) Granted haven't palyed alot wiht it, but from what I saw, it's only new coat of paint and worse options

Games nowadays are having the same "problem" as movies: people seems to have dried out the originality bucket and only stick with what brought money, or do remakes or old, successful games/movies. Of course it'll keep happening until people simply stop buying the gmae/seeing the movie; but since hat won't happen anytime soon, we'll be stuck with the same crap/diffrent coat of paint with a few rare jems thrown in here and there from some "second grade" companies (thinkin

Jagged Alliance:Deadly Games. It looked awesome, plus a new character was a crazy-psycho disgrunted Postal Worker. it was the second game I ever bought for the PC (the first being Lords of the Ring: Part 1..it was bad) and I played for months, if nto years. I still recall a few parts of it with my brother (we both played the game and we kinda loved the whole Jagged Alliance Serie) But recently?...hard to say really...everything is the
One thing a global event might do is unite the human race or turn us into animals. I do hope it is unite. We need to stop thinking of ourselves as separate nations and more as a global village. What a united human race can accomplish is staggering. By ourselves we can't even make fire. Nothing much really...history began 35000 years ago (history as in, when Man "invented" writting as we know it, Mesopotamia and such, prehistory being before that) Got to look that info up. Still Atlantis sunk what now..5000 years ago?

Tha mayas did spoke of an anniversary of one of thier leaders (or Gods, don't recall) back when ther calendar was made. That's in, in our time, the year 3000. so no, the world won"t blow up, it'll just be the marking of an astrological moment than some world wide catastrophe. But to play Devil's advocate, the calendar's good for 3000 years...and didn't Atlantis sunk some 3000 years ago?
