I don't think that I'm confusing anything... I have read the background story and I know that I am an alien race that has been given hyperdrive by humans. These messages are definitely NOT sent from humans to me, they're sent from this robot who manages the quarterly reports, the "Research Complete" and other messages; I doubt that human ambassadors would encourage me to bring doom over anyone who threatens me... Sorry, but that did not help... as for the personality tab in the opponents screen, I had already tried that. There are quite a few lines in the .raceconfigxml that are not explained in Macmatts post but neither of these, be it mentioned or unmentioned seems to help... But from that I got the idea to search through the xml files in the /Twilight of the Arnor/Data/English folder and I found the messages in the FlavorText.xml, where the text about the new age of peace is found under the tags</p

Hi, I tried to create two custom races, one very peaceful and the other warlike. When I start a game with the peaceful race, the first message informs me that "Earth creatures have shared their hyperdrive technology" and "doom awaits any who should threaten us". However, the warlike race informs me that "our human brothers have shared their technology" and that peace will be the way etc. I tried deleting the races and create them again in a differ
