Without new maps this game is going to last another month tops, it's 11:00 am on a saterday and there's 4-5 games open in the lobby, not a good sign.
them costing 33 gold was ridiculus, exp however should not be lower. there still should be some risk to upgrades, and it's a very minor one. their xp value earlier was fine, i don't know of anyone who complained about it
Yes like the risk when I spend my money on better gear instead oh wait there is none.

If Demigods was 30$

Are we going to see more maps at any point? 3v3 is the most popular game type atm and we only have 2 maps that support it, Cataract is getting old fast. Lev and Exile are simply too big/spaced out to compliament 3v3 as there is a lot of dead time and poor pvp interaction when a much of the action can be taking part a million miles away on the map As for the balance issues, no game is ever 100% fair upon first release, however I had to laugh at your response because people comp
Your use of double blind is wrong; double blind means two layers of blindness. The game couldn't be double blind unless you didn't know your own demigod or your opponenet's demigod
You are correct sir, that was a typo or more of a left over word I retyped this a few times and somehow i forgot to delete the word double, thx for pointing that out

In a perfect world all competitive games would have blind select by default but it seems most simply havn't caught on. Who you choose for your team is really no business of your oppenent until the match begins, unless sitting in the lobby constantly cycling through demigods to prevent counter classing sounds like a good time to you. With that being said I often see a lot of people complaining about choosing "doubles" or having 2 of the same demigod. Why people feel it's okey t

"People will actually have to think about gear instead of health or snare stacking and then spamming every special move they have." Smart players will always min/max gear, there are a lot of pieces that simply trump all others such as velmish helm so I think that's a faulty conclusion

It always makes me laugh when anything that is highly effective in a game is considered "noobish" like when people would use the battle rifle/plasma pistol combo in halo 2 or anyone who is really good at spammming fireballs in Street Fighter Basically any place style someone doesn't like or can't effectivly immitate becomes the noobish way to play, like oh no I got sniped by reg because I stayed out too long and forgot to buy potions, that guy is such a noob! etc etc I would a
well, that's the problem when there is a bit over the top items and some people abuse them. they don't know how to play without it. I rarely use it and seems to do fine. obviously you could be very aggressive against towers, retreat and fully heal in a sec. I don't think that was a good thing for the game, as is the shield-hol combo, because that was promoting a poor strategic play. Now you will have to be more cautious , and

I can't help but feel like the upcoming hol nerf is going to drasticly change the pace of demigods as it is a widely used almost necessary item for all classes. Increasing the price and doubling the cooldown to 1 min seem like choices which are going to massivly slow the pace of the game, put more importance on towers, double the strength of heals and shields and decrease the power of dots etc here is why. - More trips to the crystal in the mid and late game, wi
I agree on both counts, I typically play UB and I feel like there's really no chance of me taking down either Qot or Sda until the late game because of the reasons mentioned, Actually, I find Sedna and QoT (and Regulus) to be the easiest demigods to kill with UB. It all depends on your skill allocation. Unless you stack HP items, UB is heavy-hitting but fragile.
Depends on the map, typically I play 3v3 on Ca

I agree on both counts, I typically play UB and I feel like there's really no chance of me taking down either Qot or Sda until the late game because of the reasons mentioned, They can get a very healthy lead which can significantly delay me from reaching the point where my dps over takes them and against better players sometimes I never reach that point

I feel like dg is somewhat lacking in the burst department atm as a I see a lot more Sedna + Qot abust in 3v3's, it feels like with the near limitless mana given by stacking velmish and planor and the lack of efficent mana draining items/skills means the only way to counter these characters is with burst. Obvously there are class dynamics at play (rock paper scissor etc) so not all gods are supposed to have effective tools to deal with these situations, right now i see: - Rook
