What do you recommend. What does the different folders do. I could use some examples. Changing the races, abilities, starbases, Increasing the number of races and stars on the game, adding more alians, making the AI better with my tactics. Instead of giving arbitrary economic bonuses. making a better AI for higher difficulty. making a 31 major and 25 minor race mod with more stars. Giving back the drath their dread lords abilities. Bringing back the krynn and iconians espianoge.

I tried for the first time yesturday. What I did I copied files from downloaded mods and the example mod. It didn't work. I have the ultimate edition. I have no idea on how to make one. I need steps. I need to know the minimum folders and files I need. What are the recommended files and folders. How to lay them out. Where to put them. Can I use paint and wordpad I don't have anything. What can I do. What files and folders not to have. All I have is windows. How do I access html language. What

Already done that mods still won't go on my game can you clarify. I guess I'm trying to say I don't have any Idea on how to put anything together. Never done this before don't have any mods folder except the default.

I have Galactic civilization 2 ultimate. I see all these mods, but I can't download any mods. Can you please help me, and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

One thing I would have to say about the dread lords is this as nice as a game as it is. I would go to them for advice rather than asking a bunch of people who probably have not played the dread lords in some time.

If they are 4 times more powerful than anyone else you must not be playing with the torians and iconians. I like having races i can't beat it gives me something to strive for. If you want weaker thalans customize change their tech trees to torians. they start off with an industrial bonus. don't forget to have them waste their time building warships instead of colony ships by making them evil and militant

I love epic, One of the things I hated about master of orion though... it just became all the same after awhile.... I don't mind a long epic game.. as long as it keeps me involved in new and interesting things happening all the time.. If it just gos on and on all the same, there is a large welcoming of borin

I never get around to researching terror stars never seen one its a low priority but you can defend other space stations by placing a ship where they are you can't do that with terror stars. galactic civilizations spacestations could be improved in general is my opinions. a game could always be better except civilization 4 beyond the sword.

Well I like some of the advice the only they said that wouldn't work is economy treaty the rest is in dread lords. I would recommend not selling techs I would rather take a production loss I do remember to sell the tech I trade to otheer ai's though. High approval is good that's my method one per planet. If your planet makes less than when it spends build more markets. If your planet makes more. buy other stuff. One difference I learned from other blogs is have an approval of 70% or better wi

I can't get a mod for the ultimate edition anyway. I could use some help on this. What I would like to see though is about 31 or more civs on a unlimited size map, with a more balance AI's. Except for the torians, Thalans, and Iconians, for which I think these AI's are challenging and don't need to be scaled down.

I would like to see not just a module, but the best from all the modules in a upgrade. I like the thalans, torians, and iconians, but the other AIs suck especially the drengin, arcean, and dominion of korx. I would like to see the drath revert back to the dread lord game. Only talking about the abilities not the AI. Let the iconians have the new draft abilities instead of splitting up the old draft abilities between the draft and the iconians. If you have to have a 100 in military, economics,

The programmers have known for some time now that the players want that mistake corrected. And still, after all this time, the the
With tactical battles my games would take even longer to complete than they do now. I would probably play with this option turned off (if possible). I don't know if anyone's played Star Fleet Battles (tabletop Star Trek battle game), but maybe Stardock can make something similar for Galactic Civilizations before they work on GC3? In the Star Fleet game everyone has points to spend on their fleet, and then those fleets go h
maybe if you control the biggest ship in your fleet. the invasion battles need work to.
The AI's ships are not powerful enough try 109 attack and 109 defense for like the more powerful weapons. I also don't like how slowly the AI changes their tactics. If I go up against lasers with shields and against their shields with missiles they wont even attempt to counter this until either towards right before their defeat or with another AI

Hi its me again thanks for the advise. The problem is the fact that this took place two years ago, and I didn't have the Internet. But if this would've happened I would've never played the dread lords which redeemed galactic civilizations, probably be only playing civilization or sins of a solar empire today. I just wished I could've realized the expansion [ack dread lords was harder. Because twilight of the Arnor rocks. I would recommend if your not customizing, and playing a sand boxed game

I really don't like how they done the draft. First I don't like how they divided up their abilities between the iconians and the draft for dark avatar. I don't like how they took away their military production. This is what I don't like. They have a good idea, and they can't keep it. Ai wise all their good for is starting wars, but they can't fight. But my opinion is the reason they changed the drath abilities. Is because it made a rough draft for the korath clan, and because the iconia

I like twilight the only AI's that are challenging however is the torians, iconians, and thalans. I've been thinking about customizing. Any time I've ever played the AI I find that even when they don't research weapons on there own, if you give them space weapons that fixes the problem. Start all custom races with space weapons, and most of them will have lasers with rarely guns. Compared to dark avatar comments baffle me, comparing AI in dark avatar to dread lords or twilight of the arnor, a
