I've only played a few 2v2 games where both sides were organized teams on vent with skilled players. That said, I've found the most effective strategy is to concentrate on flag control for war score, and use creeps to push when catapultasauri are available around level 12. Catapultsauri can take down towers in seconds as long as you can keep the heros off of them, which isn't hard if you can kill them 1v1 without standing in a mountain of your own creeps. Also in the end

I was just in a game 3v3 on cataract, Erebus, Oak, Regulus vs. Sedna (me), QoT, and Erebus. Our erebus left a few seconds into the game, and the other team was racking up the free kills on the comp. Towards the end of the match I recall looking at the scoreboard and seeing him at 15 death with 0 kills. Basicly it was 2v3 with the additional handicap of the extra gold and xp to whoever got the kill on the AI. Our opponenets didn't suck (actually the regulus wasn't too good l
Last time I played this map with a pro player it was me as Sedna vs. UB. He was faster the enitre game by a bit, but sedna was really able to hold her ground and win in 1v1 even if she rarely killed him. If the enemy outruns you and can defeat you in 1v1, I would say forget the flag and grind out tons of xp on the creeps. If you can get a good level advantage you can bully them around even if they have a bit more gold. If your enemy outruns you, can defeat you 1v1, and c
Sedna is a big pain if the player knows what thye are doing and stacks mana regen to never leave a lane. As others have stated only way to kill her is stun followed by good time burst and interupt her heal. I really think pounce needs to be nerfed donw a bit, 1000 damage spell that is spamable because of her %on cooldown aura is overpowerd.
The cooldown aura is rather high up, and costs a lot of points
There are two basic approaches to killing Sedna. The first is to run her out of mana, the second is to damage/stun spike her so she can't heal herself. If you don't have the capacity to do either, you cannot kill Sedna and you shouldn't even bother trying.
By level 10 sedna never runs out of mana ^^
My friend and I are very skilled players, but we delayed playing against each other until recently (mostly because I think we both were afraid of losing to someone lol, considering the streak of wins we normally get). I think we came very close to maxing out both our character (in potential, not levels) but ultimately sedna was able to shrug off anything regulus could throw at her, while holding ground and killing anything that got near. Personally, before level 20 and s
I HATE PINAPPLE, PINAPPLE IS STUPID, NO ONE SHOULD EAT PINAPPLE! (10 posts saying how pinapple tastes good) Yeah pinapple is fine, I'm just concerned that people who have never had pinapple before may not like it. TT
Sure you need to be flexible, but not completely. If I go a mana intensive build, I will need mana items to support it no matter what else is happening on the battlefield. With sedna I usually buy the same 3 headpieces each game, though occassionally I find I need to delay or switch some of them out for extra health or boots of speed. I will never buy heart of life for her just because its not worth the gold for my particular character. Theres a difference between v
I haven't played her extensively, but my impressions were that she is fairly underpowered. When you say things like "support only" I get a little suspicious. A demigod built for killing players already supports by holding ground, generating additional income, and most likely the ability to take on towers. If she could kill towers quicker with uproot, you might have a case for a aggressive early game build, but I haven't had anything like this done to me yet.
As far as I know the ability affects her, I haven't actually looked at the numbers, I just assumed it was working. As for allies though, given oaks ability that uses that wording it does mean creeps and other DG. However, I don't think creeps actually use "abilities" just their auto-attack.
I just played a game 1v1 against regulus as sedna (well, 4v4 fortress on prison, but the rest were AI running in circles getting themselves killed lol) A lot of the match was fighting over the one flag that would let the citadel upgrade to level 8 and allow catapultasauri to kill off the fortresses. It came down to the fact that it was impossible to kill regulus due to his slow and long range, but he couldn't come near to me to cap the flag without me killing him. Needle
If by leveled up you mean "several levels above me" then I would say, don't let him get that high lol. Otherwise, teleport is easily interruptable with a long cast time and you are stationary. It won't save you 100 percent of the time. The AI has a problem where it forgets players can interrupt it, and almost always dies to my pounce. Also if you win the fight in the first place, you won't need teleport to escape, only to buy items lol.
I like normal better, at least for now because the game bugs out plenty of times, and correcting it quickly is often the difference between life and death. Some things that come to mind: Abilities not firing, often times my heal/pounce, requires me to move and fire it again. Pathing bugs on attacking certain towers, where my DG decided to go around through all the defenses to hit it. Auto attack/Auto follow bugging out on the targets I assign. Panthe
Honestly, I don't feel minions are worth it as Sedna or Oak. They are a gear option, not a requirement. I would even recommend skipping the yetis and spirit summoning skills in most cases. The other two I always see with summoned minions, and sometimes the idols as well.
I never buy the gold upgrade. My money in the beginning is extremely valuable, and it does earn "interest" in the form of extra xp and gold from killing more things. Later in the game I am more focused on getting catapultasauri, and upgrading their damage. Also theres less time for the gold to take effect.
http://forums.demigodthegame.com/350286 It's a more aggressive build, using the heals to support your own damage.
For Magnificent presence, its a lot of points to spend for a lower cooldown, especially at the early levels when we could just upgrade pounce/heal to do more damage the first hit. Also healing wind/counter healing tends to be very important at that time in the game, as that tends to be the final push into the citadel. So the earliest we can really afford that many points, is level 17. For one rank of silence though, it would be an option since its only one point to squeeze in somew
Introduction: So what is a duelist build exactly? Other guides that I have seen so far focus much more on using minions or defensive measures to stay in the midst of battle. Staying in the fight is very important for gold/xp/flag bonuses/winning, but this guide will focus on making sure your opponent
Lots of these tips are very good for new players. For experience players, you need to be more agressive (of course, still without dying). Also you can concentrate on building up your character more since your skill level acts as a multiplier while the creeps are as dumb as usual. Plenor Battlecrown and Vlemish Faceguard are excellent, though I use mana so quickly that I usually buy the 6500 one next. If I had to add some tips: 1. Don't go back
Honestly, I pirated the game on a whim, and when I found it to be an excellant multiplayer game I went out and bought it for access to online play (lol I hope they fix the connexion issues soon) and future updates. My friend also went out and bought it to play online with me. Most likely I will buy stardocks next game, when before demigod I had barely heard of them. I don't feel guilty at all, its a good sales model and everyone is happy.
Hi, first post on these forums ^^ Anyway, I play sedna almost exclusively and so far I think I'm decently good at it. So I got to thinking of the ways I usually die. While sedna has high regen, its more to slow the damage than prevent it (unless you are far under her level), so really once she starts taking hits she will need to use heal. Things that mess with cooldowns (stuns, frost TB, interrupts) are extremely deadly if timed right. 6 seconds is a long time
