Hi there. I am was going to move the quality of 'Mars' up from 4 to 10 and when I save the file it gives me an 'access denied' message. I went into the 'program files', under Twilight, then under custom planets, opened with notepad and I cannot save this one change. Ok what am I doing wrong?

Greetings again. I started a new game using APT2 and I 'think' I got the AI set to the Ai 11 using his tool. However I am about 1/3 to 1/2 into the game and ALL the AIs have only missiles AND they have stopped researching. It is really odd. Is there a Mod out there that will CHANGE the Ai to keep researching and keep going? Also if I have One mod installed can I install another and just select it instead of the previous one? Any advice is

So what are people playing that is a space based build game that is not Gal Civ 2? I think this game is great but I have yet to find another that even comes close to it. I do not like real time games an the turn based has always been a favorite. Does anyone out there have a new game suggestion?

I am looking for Mods that improve the game. I am playing Gal Civ 2 UE. I am looking for any mods that change or improve your game. For example, with Civ 4 there a host of mods with more weapons, Civilizations, techs and sounds/music. There are also mods that 'fix' the game in many ways and improve its playability. Are there any around that I can look at or ones that you all recomend? Can I have the 'mods' directory hold more than one mod or do I have to tell it

I have also had the event where the Minor has stolen the Major ones techs. My message is they are interested in gaining star systems in trade. When I go to check on that minor there are NO additional techs listed for them. Is this a bug? I would be happy to give them a star system WAAAY across the Galaxy and than declare war on them later and take it back, hehe.
I have ultimate edition. I have since figured out how to use this device. Just drive it INTO a star and it destroys everything around that star. Thus if you are trying to destroy an enemy starbase that is OUTSIDE the star system it will not work. I did however have the joy of running it into the Krynn homesystem and taking out in one fell swoop the Krynn homeworld, two additional Krynn production planets. Oh the joy! Ok I have a Terror Star completed. How do you use it? It has finally moved to the star system I want to use it on but there is no way to get it to work. What am I doing wrong? How does the star 'blow things up'?
Hi there! I have been playing this game alot lately and I wanted to know if there is a place I can go to or down-load that tells me what the colored icons are around a planet? I know there are only a few but I cant seem to figure them out. Can anyone here on the forums point me to where I can find this info? Thanks much!
Thanks for the reply. I would just like to have a (few) positives when confronted with moral choices for good. Almost every choice I get when an event occurs is a negetive for choosing good and a small benefit for choosing Evil. Is there a mod that can balance that out a bit? Thanks again! Larsenex
Why are there NO bonuses for being good? If you look at the whole evil/good thing all you get is penalties for good and bonuses for Evil. Why in the galaxy would I want to run a 'good' empire and take hits to production or pop or BC? Isnt there a mod out there that gives you a better choice when confronted with Good vrs Evil dilemas? "The roaches on Kartoum V have been found to be detrimental to our new colony" Good>>> (Let the live and take a population hit -5% pop)<
Ok i figured out the install. I have to unzip the files in a folder named mod in the Twilight folder which by the way was not there. Anyone out there take a look at my request/questions about good/evil or is this an old horse?
