I do understand there are people who only care about achievements, standings, causing grief, whatever. BUT if we can at least maitain a civility and welcoming attitude the community won't become a rampant playground for tools like we've seen so many other gaming communities go. Like so many of you I like this game, and I want to see it grow into a vibrant community of talented and enthusiastic individuals working toward the common goal of perpetuating a great title. Sadly, I have seen trappings of elitism and an aspiring social hierarchy in this wonderful community on this and other sites. In an effort to preserve the laissez faire attitude and lack of exclusivity in the members of this community I propose the following: -Let's agree to n
This is actually a bit serious. As soon as you sell a summon minion, the minion should dissapear imho.
I've gone into a Skirmish match, offline and tried this and I couldn't get it to work. User error I'm sure, but I'm happy I have legitimate success with the Generals.
I love playing as Generals (The Oak and Erebus) and I've never used the idol cheat ever. If you need or have even become accustomed to using the exploit I really think you're missing out on a great Demigod type to utilize and enjoy IMHO.
AI Rook or Human Rook? Items? If so which ones? Level differences? Skill point allocation? Were you being shot by arrow towers or towers of light? These are 5 factors that could enlighten us further on your described scenario with the Vampire Lord and Rook and without them true appraisal of the fight cannot be made. Rook and TB were Normal and Hard AI respectively (I was trying to get my friend acclimated to the game so I thought I was
Despite the bad launch, most if not all gamers are aware of why. Despite the so-so reviews any gamer who's spent at least a couple days on the internet can realize that reviewers at ign, gamespot (Kane&Lynch don't forget), 1up (the leaders in hypocritical reviewing), and any other site can give no more or less of an accurate appraisal than any one of us. No campaign/singleplayer? Was there announced there would be one? Have you played a tournament? Let me tell you
Well I'm mad Stardock can't make oranges taste more like apples because I don't like how oranges taste.
This was the first beta that i was involved in that felt like there was a massive wall between the developers of the game and the community of beta testers, which added to my frustration, which also resulted in such a poor title. Of course so many people will dislike the game if their suggestions are ignored, we arn't trying to make the game worse, we offered our ideas and support to make it much better than what it has turned out to be. We're really making weak fodder units (idols) into superweapons via this conversation. Unless you have enough money and enough mana and enough regen (which takes leveling and some combat) you can't spam anything beyond level I or II idols, which are weak anyway. As the demigods level, experience gives diminishing returns and at some point killing the masses of portal spawn doesn't mean much - no different from killing the maximum of 6 idol spawn per general that give no ex
I feel TC answered their own question. If you're aware of the what events could possibly shift the balance of power to one side and thereby preordain the winners of the match why don't you take advantage of it. The other team obviously did. i do agree that if enough momentum is built you cannot stop the onslaught for that match, but there's always another match and an opportunity for you to create the momentum and steamroll someone else. If something like Valve imple
I find this whole conversation funny because gamefaqs.com had a similar post about how OP the Assassin demigods were and how they SHOULD be balanced. There is no legitimate and objective difference that gives one an advantage over another, players just simply see one or a few instances and create facts based around them. If you give gold or experience for minions they'll be targets for a quick couple of levels or some nice item upgrades. As mentioned before they'll be view
