Yeah. That's about the gist of it, there's more or less a basic plot which we'll agree on but we can spice things up as we see fit. It's an exercise in writing and creativity more or less. I'm looking more for background/character creativity here along with a nice writing exercise. What, round robins aren't common here?

I for one like to use a somewhat more advanced tactic. apparently if you have a lot of troops your enemy's advantage suffers. SO I create a massive fleet of troop carriers and bum rush a planet with them. we're talk 16000 or so troops versus 8000 here, for some reason I've seen the enemies advantage halve. Well AdmiralMaximus, what I'm lookin to do is write a sort of round robin, since that seems to be the easiest thing. Basically all custom races, in a universe likely based on something the authors would agree on. Pretty much one side (the author's civilization/characters) versus another. that way we avoid Baaaaawwwwing when someone's side loses.

Make sure you build space defenses and weaponry, otherwise you have to post a fleet/ship to guard the thing. And god help you if you forget to order the ships to attack the enemy and your star station is unarmed *explosion noise*
