I never buy games protected by DRM especially Steamworks. But I always purchase interesting indie games on GOG or directly from developers. I like to support indie developers not being DRM slave. You can't stop pirates but you can lose legal customers.

I hate Steam. The first and the last game I bought there - Empire Total War. I will never buy there any, even the most desired game. I like Matrix Games - there you will get no DRM except serial number. There is no need to activate your games via online service, no regional policies. You can install your games in any folder you want ( in Steam - only in SteamApps). You will never be banned and loose all your bought games. Is there any outstanding TBS console games like GalCiv, Space Empires, MOO, Total War, Master of Magic? It's the only PC game genre (TBS) I like to play. And yes, the possibility to modify PC game is the great advantage wich can extend a game life.

Is it possible to do such trick in TA? It works well with DA's saves, but I haven't found any pattern above in TA. PS I'm awfully sorry for my English.
