This might be my problem. How do you check if JavaScript is enabled in firefox. In FireFox go to: Tools -> Options -> Content -> make sure 'Enable JavaScript' option is checked.

Hummm. :/ Interesting. We'll look into this and see whats up. Sorry for the random crashing. We believe we know what the issue might be, but we will be doing some testing as far as a solution. We will also be releasing a new version of the forums very soon. We are in the process of skinning it to match the look of the current site. This will help improve several details related to performance here. <
Hey Purge, First off, thank you for being a part of my Empire, The Overmind. I checked into the issue, and it would appear to have been a caching thing with the server. There are portions of the site that cache data at different times. This is what most likely has occured. Sorry about the mix up. Hey, look at it this way, your character got more exposure! hehe Thanks for postin
Try this: Just guessing. That is how you make a field in XML support funky characters. Not sure how that would be in the game though.
ok guys, I'm re-uploading the techtree poster now. Apparently, I still had those links in my browser cache, that's why I wasn't getting the 404 Errors, since our main file server went down a few weeks ago, we had lost those. So, in about 10 minutes everything should be re-uploaded. Please note, those files are rather large, so expect to be downloading for a while if you don't have a high-speed connection.
humm.. that's stange, they where working last night when I posted it. :/ I'll have to track down the reason why it changed.
I can't follow those links even after I cut and paste them in my browser and eliminate the space Remove the space in between the "H" and the "TTP://" in the links and you'll be okay. I had to add a space since our wonderful forums breaks the links even more so if it happens to detect h t t p : / / <img src="http://images.stardock.com/g

i like this idea it save's stardock money they can use to make further improvements on the game Exactly
Not to worry guys, this will get fixed. It's simply a cosmetic issue. W lost our primary image server recently, and the backup image server wasn't quite up-to-date. We'll be taking care of this over the next week or so. There where/are a lot of images that need to be restored. We've been taking care of the broken images first, and then taking care of the incorrect ones. So just sit tight as we fix these tiny bugs. Thanks for reporting these issues. We appreciate your efforts and patience.
I say if you can get away with it in the game, then its fair play! Good strategy players can overcome impossible odds. As mentioned, cheese tactics like rushing is a fair way to play the game, which if resisted successfully, has many strong drawbacks. That's why I love the rush option in a game. If you choose to rush, you better have a backup plan if it does not succeed. If you play a game that has the ru
26 here!
Yes indeed. Just testing the comments too.. I needed something to say. Thanks too for the comment about my goats. You know, they make great pets, too!
cool stuff eh? Yeah, I thought so
Check out all of my animals below :) Still testing...
"I got this scar on my face during a mighty struggle!" Um... "How appropriate, you fight like a cow." Now that takes me back a while.
One more thing to note that each shirt has written across the back of the shirt near the shoulder area, "www.GalCiv2.com" in nice big letters.
Please, add an "Intesive AI" option that would allow the AIs to do things like upgrade ship designs whenever a relevant tech is researched. I respect the desire to make the game accessible to people with older machines. At the same time, I don't think I'm entirely alone in my willingness to spend more time waiting in exchange for a, well, less crippled AI. </TABL
How about posting the video? I second that motion!
When a picture doesn't appear for an entry, it's either because Stardock's XML data does not specify a picture or because a specific picture could not be found. Also, GC2 itself can render 3D model files; I can only show PNGs or similar bitmap files. Nothing I can do on my side to fix this, unless some Stardock guy would tell me which image files to show
I cant see a poll on the left so I'll just add www.eurogamer.net review followed by checking out a Gamespy review before ordering. The poll is only available on the main GalCiv2 site and not in the forums (separate sites). You'll notice the web address. If it says forums.galciv2.com, then you need to be on www.galciv2.com to see it on the l
I remember Wing Commander . . . . I had a Mac at the time, and the only game related to it I ever really played was Privateer (I think...) Privateer was a great game too! I totally forgot about that game. Man, I spent a lot of time playing that game too.
