Wondering if this is a known issue and/or others have encountered. The automatic ship designs are not upgrading after I research new technologies. For example, after setting focus on 100% laser and 100% mass driver defenses, and after researching numerous technologies that should improve ship designs (particle beams, various armors, miniaturization etc) the automatically designed ship is not upgrading beyond v3. Have others experienced this and/or know how to resolve? <
