Thanks for the clarification regarding this issue. I do try to quickly go after planet invasion and related techs before the costs inflate. The inflation that I observed was consistent with the 2.7x initial cost limit.
I have played TA a few times and have noticed that the cost for researching planetary invasion and other like soldiering technologies in particular double in cost after awhile. I was wondering what this is due to. Is it because I researched alot of other technologies prior to researching said soldiering technologies? Have you experienced similar problems. I now research the soldiering technologies very early on to prevent the jump in the techologies cost. M
