Philmar83, I was able to change the data source to what you indicated but I was only able to find bytes/sec rather than a bytes total. At least it is working for the bytes/sec!

I wonder if it has anything to do with the network card? Currently i am using a wireless network connection I wonder if a wired connection would make a diffrence?
philmar83, Thanks for the information! I will have to take a look at it when I get home from work. Bichur, To be honest I never tried the graphical indicators. I have been attempting to get a numerical/text output. you got me thing about just trying it with a graphical indication and see if that
Ok new to this forum but have use others and have never had this much BAD luck with the search features! no matter what I type it never finds any matches. Maybe someone can tell me how this one works or at leat how to pull up results?
Yeah I make sure ther eis activitiy for it to detect, useally well beyond where it should have been detecting it.
Thanks for the reply Zubaz! Well I am still new to all this so hopefully I ge this right!?!? I right click on the desktopX builder and click new object. When the properties for the new object is opened I select the performacemeter2 and then the configure button. The RAS total is listed under the configure and the btyes in and out under that. If this does not help narrow down what I am doing then I will try and post a picture of everthing..
If this is not the correct place to post this then i apologies in advance! I can not seem to get the RAS total bytes sent/received to work. I have tried searching but have not found anything helpful. I don’t know if it is an error with my system or DesktopX. I am running Windows XP SP3 with <a class="iAs" style="border-bottom: 0.075em solid darkgreen !
