I have this same problem, but I those keys aren't in my registry. Here's what I mean: When I click on one of them, I get this message: I already messed around with the program defaults and such, and no luck. I even uninstalled IP and it still didn't fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Help! Internet Shortcut icons remaining as default windows icons
in IconPackager
WinCustomize Forums
It isn't just an IE problem. I recently applied a package and the icons updated (as expected) But when I removed the package and reset it to "Windows Default" I got blank page icons for my internet and email on the start menu. When I click them, it says "Can't find blah blah... would you like to remove this link?" I use Firefox and Thunderbird, and I went into the properties and changed it to IE and Live Mail, and those icons appeared properly. I uninstalled IconPackager, and no luck.
