Why not just implement a LAN, TCP/IP, and hotseat feature. It seems to me that the big deal people have is annonymous online play ala battle.net. I don't want to play with random folks, but I'd love to setup a LAN game with friends. Think of it as a giant boardgame, but since the board is so insanely complicated it needs to be hosted on each players' PCs. I just want to play this game with my friends. What's the problem with this?
