Ok I am getting the ship creation down to a point where I am making them from scratch rather than simply modify existing ones. What I would like to know now is templates. I know the game starts off with ships you can not make. How do I make a template so that only my own creations are used? Particularly the starter colony miner and flagship? ( without cheats and mods ) Also is it possible to make your own starbases? And if not should I make a templat
