I did'nt expect it to work to be honest, but I was happily surprised when it did.

There is an event that limits your ships movement to 5/turn maximum, no matter what engines you have. The only way I've found to get them a bit faster is with Fleet Warp Bubble technology, but there may be other techs out there that help.
For me I'd have to say either Starcraft or Half-Life. Both incredibly fun games, but also ones that you can just play for an hour or so, save, then jump right back into whenever you feel like it.
I had a crash problem that I posted about previously where the game would randomly crash my system and restart the computer. After some advice and testing I found out that disabling my motherboards onboard sound card pretty much solved the problem (its a pretty old mainboard) However, having to disable and re-enable the drivers all the time can be a bit tedious and seems to be causing problems of its own. I was wondering if theres any way to change the game settings to turn off the sound?
Right, now the game is crashing around about every 2 or 3 minutes. None of my hardware has been changed and it worked much better than this before. Sorry to bring this up again, but I like this game. Its just I can't play it. Sorry to add yet another post to my own thread but the original reset crash happened again, but did not display a BSOD despite me setting to display one. Is there anything else that you think may be causing this? Thanks in advance
I seem to be getting another problem now in addition to the previous problem. Instead of crashing game will just freeze and lock up my system. Could this be a similar problem to the last one? Heres the .err file in case. Sorry, its pretty long. Debug Message: Version v1.95 Twilight of the Arnor last updated on: Thu Jun 19 11:41:00 2008 Debug Message: Checking DX Version. Excellent, thanks for the reply mate. I'll give researching it a go in the morning
Right, I found the debug.err file as I was looking in the wrong place. I have tried using SmartException but because the crash resets my system it does'nt appear to be any help. The crashes themselves happen at what appears to be random times and screens, not really a common factor between them. Here is the .err file. I'm having a problem right now with ToA crashing at random points while playing. It does'nt seem to be set off by any particular thing, and it does'nt generate an error report as the crash actually resets my system. I read that I should try SmartException but would that make much difference if my system restarts? Thanks in advance
