I got that shooting one once. I was on a gigantic galaxy, I was humans and I had one ally, the altairians. we were the biggest two and finishing off wars with the drengins to win the map. then their leader gets shot, they get mad and ally with the drengins and send their transports through my lines into my manufacturing section. there were literally 5 drengin planets left, so I had already sent what remained of defense to just pen them in. it really sucked, but thank you autosave.

I am having a similar but more severe problem with flashing. all backgrounds such as the map or toolbar flicker, but the buttons or ships/planets/etc. drawn on them do not. the the whole thing minimizes and i get an error which says, in full text, "The parameter is incorrect." If i dont close this and the program via the taskbar quickly my computer will blue screen. is this a problem with my video card or the game, and how might I fix it? btw im just posting here because it is easier than po
