Problem beginning my game in The Political Machine 2004 Stardock Forums

I have installed the game via digital download and when I try to start it...There are no graphics, only sound...It is a white screen with the audio and then the beginning comes where I can choose campaign play, credits..etc..When I click on those, the information is not all there. It seems like a video problem, but being the computer hardware novice that I am...I need some help...
