Dammit, a War Party is forming! We need to form an opposition party to hold back those sword-waving Advocates for Imperialism! How about the Coalition of Prosperity? Also, I think I'm part of the Research Party, but I definitely support economic and industrial development.
We can form a part for prosperity, kind of like an union of parties. With the research party, universalists, industrialist, traders and federalis

Argh, I guess this matter will have to wait until the first official meeting. Of Character: Since we are doing this let me jsut state i'm part of the federalist party, even when i'm advocating for manufacturing.

I still disagree councilor, it is necesary that before we start developing our army we need to give our colonies the tools to build those ships efficently. Platenar improvments will increase not only our social production and research but also out military production. I think it is a great compromise, you get your military production while we get our social and research production. Any other councilor has an opinion on the matter?

Hello Councilor TMS, i'm sure you have this projects interests at heart when you talk about this subject, yet it is sill hard to belive for me that we should follow your advice. The develpment of a good manufacturing and economic infrastructure is a necessity. Yes, we need information on our neiborghs plans but before we decide to attack or not we need to be able to risk a long battle. I'm thinking you belive conquering will be an easy task, but remember i
- Crippling difficulty. I considered putting the question of difficulty out, but just went for broke. I agonized a bit about it, but I have quite a bit of experience playing on tough. I usually clean house, with the game being decided before it gets really fun. It does occur to me now that by upping the difficulty I may be forcing myself to play a certain way, thus limiting your options. Though a restart w

Greetings Commander I'm Councilor Carlos, pleased to meet you. I have read your report, and although i see we are in a very good position to colonize worlds, i have a concern regarding our closest neighbors. Do you have any information on them? Have you determined if they are hostile? Will we have to develop war technologies early on or can we expect peace in our borders? This are my main concerns at the moment. In regards Dr. Malar, if our current cons

On the topic of the veto, we can limit the number to vetos we can use for the whole game, that will help to avoid abuse of power. On extreme planets i think that there should be some but not many, uncommon maybe, depending on how many habitable planets there will be. We need them just for the sake of some of the super abilities and starting techs, so that they don't become useless.

I want in. I came back to this foeums just for this, it sounds awesome,it sounds like an RP, and i love RPs. Objective Fun. To guide a civilization on a epic journey. Galaxy Settings - Custom Race: Don't really care, i would like that some of the backstory of the race will be released one it has been decided upon. - Big Galaxy (Huge/Gigantic/Immense - Agree). - Enough, but not too many planets (Just not all abund

Its just i was planning on making my low PQ world into economic ones, but that wont be possible with those caps, i chek them myself, and i dont know if they are right number by number but there is ca that prohibites your worlds from growing over a certain point even if you got the normal enough food to sustain them, so im going to make those worlds reaserch.
A couple of things may be in play here. You mention both low quality planets and low pop planets which are different things. Low quality planets have a lower population limit but the growth rate is the same as a high quality planet as long as approval and any other factors that affect growth rate are the same. The population growth rate is dependent on many things; race, planetary approval, techs, etc. but is also limi

In my last game i noticed what you said Carl Aylward, but that makes it even better, that means we can know put a large ship with big HP and defences as the highest prority target on a fleet, this means we now have the options of changing our frigates or fighters from a Atacc/Defence balance to mostly atack.
I'm amazed that some of you have so much choice... generally i find I'm building as many of the best ships I can at any given time.. wea

Just a Couple of minor thougts: 21-Beeing able to upgrade your ships from a list (any of the ship list we have), or create a new list of ships wich allow use to upgrade, but also gives us important information on the ship that we need to know to upgrade the best ships first like, Lv, Cost, Atack, Defence, Hp, if its currently under a lease or something like that. 22-Computer needs to be a little more organized when it comes to invasions, actually i dont see it as a

I would like to know how you guys make yur fleets, of course is very simple in the early game when you just have to put the must guns on the biggest hull and fleet them up, but im talking abuot mid/late game when you have the fleet modules, hulls so big that you cant mass produce them and so on. Ive been thinking a little about it and i came up with a good ship composition, first i went to the galciv wiki and found tat the priority enemies use to atack your ships is Atack/(Defence + H
1. I have been playing a game against 'simple' computer and I have dominated the the 'colonization' race and have a big lead on planets. I have found the most difficult part to follow is the technologies, specifically relating to ships. I had 12 planets to 3 and the race comes at me with huge vessels. I had a huge technology advantage Lasers III, miniballs IV, all these advancements, but the best ship I had (As Terrans) was a Star Fury with
