I've seen a number of TBs kill other DGs very effectively with ice storm/flip/fireball. That's a great finishing set, if they are running. The only longer ranged one, is Regulus' snipe. The maxed ice storm does 800 I think, but it also slows them considerably, -40% for a few seconds, long enough to switch and then get the fireball off, for up to 1050 (or 1350, if you've got the combined ability), or 1850 damage, and if you have the ice storm extra, that slows mana and health regenerat

I've mostly been playing Sedna lately. IMO, She is actually one of the strongest at killing DGs, unless the other side has particularly good players. (Also, **** any good Erebus) She's pretty bad at killing creeps without minions. Direct Healing is one of the last things I usually level up in. Healing Wind is usually the second I get. So stay close and you'll heal up over time. That said, if there's a plan, I'll heal as often as I can if someone is working with me, and not just g

Healing Wind: Yes Fire Aura, certainly includes demigods, and yourself. Don't know about the permafrost. I believe the bonus to minion health is just hers. The cooldown should apply to all, her and close by allies/minions. (Not that anything but demigods have cooldowns, with the possible exception of priests?)

No to wearing 3 boots of speed, as you can only have one of any item. Yes, to item effects stacking. Please note that +% items are of base speed/ability/etc, not total. Ie, 2 +10% items, give +20%, not +21% (It doesn't do it this way: First item giving +10%, to 110%, second giving +10% of that, or 121%) Yes, to BoS and Journeyman Treads. Which should give +10% and +15% If I remember correctly, for +25% of base. Anything additive, is just that, for example weapon damage
There are PC games and there are Console Games. Cross-platform games are usually only shooters, and from my experience, the difference between a stupid controller and a gaming mouse there is no comparison.
Notice how you can't play together on them usually. This is for a reason. There was a port of Q3 to one of the consoles that could be played vs PC. The console players got obliterated. As far

I'm going to have to disagree with the idea of having it validate for a LAN. Here's why: Stardock might die. Look back many years, imagine if say Master of Orion 2 had activation required. (Granted, it's mostly a single player game, but occasionally played on a lan) The game is great, it stands the test of time, like another of Microprose's titles (bonus points for catching the reference, if you can). Unfortunately, Microprose does not. Fast forward a bit, a company called Cav

Ok, just to inject a little bit into this discussion: If you were unaware, Demigod's engine is basically Supreme Commander's. Supcom was ported to the Xbox 360, however, it was rather limited from everyone I've heard who has played it on both PC and Xbox. Limited size maps, poor controls, no-FA (which is not so much the Xbox's fault). Specifically, much of the limitation appears to be due to the memory. The 360 has 512MB for all the application memory, textures, and EVE

I see a lot of bullshit both for and against copyright infringement. Here's some interesting reading, specifically with regard to publishing, and Baen. http://www.baen.com/library/palaver6.htm http://www.baen.com/library/palaver7.htm (More on the site, I'll presume everyone can figure it out without links) I know that I've recommended a few

*sigh* I'd hoped this was fixed from Supcom/FA. I play on my laptop. At home I have a 1440x900 LCD screen, which I usually use. My laptop itself has a 1280x800 screen. Unfortunately, Whenever, I switch from the LCD to the laptop, It gives me an 'Unable to create Direct3D. Check video drivers.' message. The solution is to go to game.prefs (or maybe it's games) and fix it, however that's incredibly annoying, and I wouldn't have known it, if not for being around Supcom. Seriously

(Regarding the Pirate Bay thing) Based on everything I've heard, if the case had been decided upon what was presented in court, they should have been cleared. There wasn't really a case presented. The judge allowed lots of evidence that wasn't dealt with in the Discovry phase, contrary to the law. Somehow the pirate bay lost. Now it comes out that the Judge is very much in favor of tougher copyright. A prior judge had to not take the case because of (from what I can tell) a weaker con

For the most part, they work fairly well after the patch up to 3v3 (I haven't tried 4v4). Yes, there are the occasions where someone drops. That's a minority event, however. Perhaps there is a problem with your connection/firewall/nat?
