its okay i managed to fix it thanx.

Hi. I recently wiped my computer clean and then installed impulse to get galactic civ 2. after a time it was complete so i stated the game up as normal. there were no mods active. i stated a new game and it went to the tips screen just before you start to play and it was just black not tip was showing. then after about 1 min it crashed to desktop. i thern reinstalled it but the problem still persits. could you please aid me. thanx
