fair enough, i dont want someone talking me through it step by step, id just like some general pointers on how to beat a level thats stupidly out of proportion with anything else ive met so far.

thanks, i realised what id done straight after posting, i was indeed trying to claim a class 0 planet, are you ever able to use them? ive had no game problems since, completed my first game with a win and score of 10k on the default settings, no idea how respectable that is. few other things you might be able to answer for me, whenever i click on a unit, then tell it to do something, the screen then jolts to another unit rather than just staying still, is that normal and can it

I started playing GalCiv 2 today, i sat and watched all the tutorials but im still having an issue trying to take over an empty planet. I sent the colony ship to my home planet, then launched it with people on board, i can move it next to the planet i want to take over, but however hard i try i cannot get it to land on the planet. Ive gone back to the tutorial and followed its steps, left click the unit, right click the destination and when it arrives a message appears, but im getting not
