I also have the same problem as Bl4ckSh33p. For some reason, the final version of ToA seems to stutter whenever a 3D ship model is shown on screen (beginning from when you select a race for a new game, and it shows their ship design on the bottom right. It also lags during the 3D grid map (not when it's zoomed out all the way to the 2D models of the ships on the map grid.
