Go to https://forums.galciv2.com/410012 for getting GalCiv2 to run in Windows 7 64-bit professional, after installing the game from GameStop. There are two REG files you need to run (one for 32-bit, one for 64-bit) to restore missing tutorials and campaign filepaths which are causing the crash.
