Ah, nice little write-up on EV Nova. It's published by Ambrosia Software, and was easily the greatest shareware series on the Mac. When I made the jump to PC, there were two programs I missed the most over in the Mac side, BBEdit, and Escape Velocity (EV). It is a great series powered by a decent, branching story line and user add-ons. Think 2D SoSE w/o the MP and with a storyline. Great gem.
