Game wont work past starting menu in Technical Sins Forums

I start the game and then the main menu comes up with: -Play the Game -Update Game -Update Serial -Manual I click on Update Serial, my serial key that I entered pops up in full that I typed in, all correct I click on Play the Game, the menu goes away and NOTHING happens, I've uninstalled and reinstalled it about 3 times now, whats going on? Can someone please help? BTW, I have XP, not Vista, so I know thats not a problem...
