Yep... Start getting into that and we'll be bringing back the bad ol' days like when Apple thought it could copyright the 'look and feel' of a spreadsheet. Only so many ways that little puppy can be done..and..Apple wasn't the first ones to come up with the idea. In fact, I kind of doubt they had computers back in Babylonia. Abacuses maybe, but not computers... :)

I've been thinking about this again since the advent of the 'Server Error' problems lately. And, though I realize Wincustomize may be the 'ugly red-haired step-sister' in some people eyes, I think it should really be thought of as an 'advertising' expense rather than viewed as pay-for-itself web-site. I'm sure Stardock maintains advertising through many sources that it can not directly discern its sales return from. But think I can readily say Wincustomize more than pays f

Is any one else having problems either getting on to Wincustomize (Server Busy Error) or, once on, getting errors (GetUpload) when attempting to upload material? This has been happening to me since early this past weekend... :(
Shame on the American Media.
A double amen to that sentiment!!! As a 'Nam era person I can say it was disgraceful how the media 'spun' things back then. And, even though History has proven their bias and misinformation campaign to the American people, it's no less shameful how they continue to discount the Heroes of that era even to this day... God bless, Ed Freeman, God bless. And may choruses of Angels herald you to your reward...

FWIW, I think I've found the prob. For AniUtil to work (or, maybe, it the shortcut docklet) the images have to be almsot dead-on centered or else the 'frame-creep' happens. Will have some 'fixing' to do since I had like 9 sets of images of 100 images each to get done... Thanks for getting me pointed in the right directions...

Using it in "AniShortcut.dll' for an animated shortcut. Some times they work with no prob; some times I get the frame creep. All seem to be centered with no evidence of movement. And the number of frames is only called for in AniUtil as far as I can see. No need to set any thing any where else.

When I compose some animations in AniUtil I get 'frame' creep - image seeming to creep across the frame from one side to another. When I've checked the image for 'center' in WindowsMovieMaker the animation progresses properly. What can I do to correct this?

Here's a tip (yeah, this coming from me - who's lucky if he can find his behind with a flashlight and instructions half the time) about working with 'magic pink'. Save the .bmp first, then bring it back into your editor program. Don't know why, but it seems (at least on my machine) that it's much easier to get the "mp" parts right than trying to do it on the original image. Probably a 'tip' every one know about, but still thought I'd share...[e digicons]>_>[/e]
