I too had quite a few crashes in demo as well. I can't play Erebus(application jsut closes halfway through the game), nor can I host MP match(Game crashes right after launch). I have specs slightly better than the minimum :/
You still not upgraded your video card tax???
Hack78
Technically the tooltip ONLY states it increases you max. It does NOT say anything about increasing the amount of health you have. As such it implies it has temporarily increased the max HP available to you IF you can fill it up...
Does the game engine handle z-axis for maps? i.e. have ramps going up to locations and going up slows and down speeds things up??? I want some M.C. Escher style maps!!! :D http://hightouchconcept.files.wordpress.com/2007/06/mc_escher_relativity_623x600.jpg http://cmsweb1.loudo
Maybe an option to have a game not count if someone d/cs by vote or something.
Which the team that lost the person will almost never win - if a team is winning and lose a player, why would the other team agree not to count it - they now have a chance to win. If a team is winning and the opposition lose someone (gasp - rage quitter who pulled hit cable out), why would they want to not count it???
General rule of thumb with stardock games - buy them new and you can play Multi-player and get content updates/patches. But them second hand and you are limited to single player/LAN using whatever is on the disk. Hence it is better to buy them... I am finding it is cheaper for me to buy them via Impulse then get them in the store unless the game has been out for ages (I am in Australia). I can get DG online (digital version) for about 30% less then in the shops for a box and disc I wi
i too have vsed a few erebus recently, that have been almost impossible to kill. They evade too much, move to fast, stack health alot. with all that goignon he still moves fast, so i dunno wtf items they get. So i decided to do an evasive build myself, man was that was a failure and a half. but i dont think he needs to be nerfed. ppl have just found his highest potential. time to do so for the rest.
Ryan is a real @#^
Send him to http://www.demigoddb.com/
The best bit is that when DG crashes, you can't see the exception window to look at what happened - invisible stack trace etc... Yay!!!
allowing doubles in the first place is just a cheap way out of not having to make more heros. anyway, they need to allow the host to turn an option on "random with no doubles" or "random with doubles"
That ain't going to work in a 5v5 (at least until they release the 2 new ones...)
patience is a virtue
virtue is a grace - and I don't play sedna much...
Nice - adds to the game without being cluttered
But support ships are not damage dealers, so the wave upgrade tree would still (basically) only affect caps and enforcers. As TEC you don't research lasers to power-up a hoko
Actually that is often the ship I get the upgrade for - I am more likely to have have 20+ of them in a fleet then cobalts... So I get that one to make the fleet a little more dangerous. Plus I get upgrade to SB and caps as well...
No - you either run or they run - depends on the context it is being used under...
You need to expand quicker - make sure you get the planet upgrades that remove the tax penalty. Many new players miss that and tax themselves out of the game as they have no income (sometimes even negative...)
Sounds OP And would really hurt with a UB next to him as ooze isn't a spell...
Ryan does play most - they he DOES seem to favour Erb. And is possibly starting to get his head around The Rook... ;)
You can only have once account with Demigod associated - you need to log in with that one - any other account won't have demigod associated...
If you're downloading in anyway, using the internet
In Australia, it is more likely to be UPLOADING due to the Asynchronous net speeds we have... Most players know they cannot have downloads going while playing DG - if this rule is followed, ping is less of an issue - bandwidth is more important (esp upload as I stated) - ping doesn't measure this...
Maybe I missed something, but they said they put continuous fire into the rook. Nothing about using abilities. If he had enough health regen and armour combined, the DPS per second they are doing (mitigated) wouldn't be enough to take his HP that quickly compared to the regen - a pot every now and then topping the rook up WOULD help the rook survive. Analaysis - not enough kit upgrades and use of abilities - could be wrong - hard to judge this from the OP
Just don't post - it is safer!!!
I don't understand why everyone is bitching so much... It's really simple to change an entity file...If it's so unbalanced, then go in and balance it the way you want... end of problem.
Then you don't understand how the game works - P2P, checksums etc... As stated - the changes HAVE to be universal for MP to work...
Still waiting...
Vanilla Sins exe vs Entrenchment exe - they are two DIFFERENT programs. The vanilla one has an option to launch entrenchment. Ent cannot launch vanilla
Basically the sooner you figure out they're going for HC the better. If you see they have 4(+) military labs they are definately going HC... even 3 military labs is a fair warning.
BS - that can just mean carriers and hoshikos!!!
The OS on my new computer is 64 bit. Might that have something to do with it?
Nope - I run Vista Ultimate 64 at home with IE 7 and it is fine. At my new job I have IE7 (on XP) and I have issues clicking on some threads to view latest - I get a very small horizontal scroll bar showing... Weird
