These ideas all have their worth and merit for both sides, but it is all academic if you can't stay in the game for more than 5 minutes because of minidump freezes.

Sins Entrenchment Impossible to play after latest patch (Feb. 20) in Stardock Games Stardock Forums

After Uninstalling and reinstalling latest patches per instructed, and removing "Drengin" registry keys,( the two mentioned elsewhere in this forum) minidumps and resulting game freeze is back bigtime. I cannot play any longer than an hour now. :(

Sorry...my suggestions were simply "shots in the dark" so to speak. it's virtually impossible to diagnose a problem accurately in a forum like this. Hmmm...you might try a different monitor resolution. I don't know how often you defrag. your system, but with games such as this installed..they seem to need to be defraged more often..might try that. There could be problems in your registry as well. It's real easy to get junk left over in the registry from uninstalls and people tend to ignore this. Actually it's one of the main reasons Windows gets slower and slower, and eventually crashes if not taken care of occassionally.

I was having mini dump and crash issues right and left until I recently played around with a few things: 1.) Check and double check your drivers, especially the video card drivers and make sure they are current. 2.) Set graphics to medium in the game.( possibly high if you have a higher end grapics card.) 3.) ...this may be the most important. Delete all prior game saves if you have any from past beta. I think the new expansion is great so far, however I only play against the computer, and am currently playing a "huge" scenario with the Advent and after creating a fairly large fleet the game slows down to a snails pace, The game freezes after I save and exit and won't return to windows.
