Installing SoaSE & expansions through Impulse in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

I've bought myself a new PC and Windows 7. I've come to install the game and expansions (all purchased seperately), and vaguely remember there was some issues with what order they should be installed in. I've searched through the forums with no joy. Can anyone clarify this for me please?

It hasn't. [e digicons]X([/e] When impulse finished downloading, it seemed to just stop the instalation process. I tried deleting the temporary download folder for impulse next, but I STILL get the beta version installed! Then tried uninstalling Entrenchment via the Add/Remove Programs, through Windows CP. I clicked on Entrenchment and nothing happened, so I'm assuming there's a registry issue as well?!?

Thanks for the help Annatar11. Have tried that. Infact I had to. Kept getting an error message from impulse when trying to un-install Sins. Unfortunately it wasn't solving the problem. However, based on your advice, I'm trying to instal Sins to a totaly new folder. Fingers crossed

Entrenchment won't update in Technical Sins Forums

I've followed the instructions given and uninstalled Sins, and the beta of Entrenchment. Then tried re-installing Sins through impulse. However impulse then automatically re-installs Entrenchment version 0.92.005 and tells me I must uninstall that before I can get the newist version. Every time I click on the uninstall function for Entrenchment, it removes both that and Sins! Every time I try to re-install I get the same result, the beta of Entrenchment. Any help would be grea
