Definately well played by Obs and King, and yeah it was nice to be able to play with a friend against a good team.
I know but it still feels like someone is beating a dead horse..........
Technically it's beating a dead game. I also agree with playgroundlegend, I feel bad for anyone who bought this game recently.
The problem is they aren't better, it's a real bad time for this game to die because there isn't much else in the way of multiplayer games out there, or coming anytime soon. It's pretty depressing.
NWA won the first round vs Catch 22.
At 5 PM eastern standard time on a saturday not a single person with a months notice wanted to play the tournament.
How often were you in contact with these players over the coarse of a month? Could it be possible that these people signed up and then stopped playing before the tournament happened? I know for a fact that there are premades that want to play other premades, I'm part of
Don't get me wrong I hope you're right Zehdon, basically my point is that it would have been a much safer play to work on team match making first. While it's true that there could be an unusually large amount of people with the necessary skills in the community, I don't think that it's likely. And making quality content is often more about being able to tell what other people will like than it is about technical knowledge.
The game is dying, i can harldy find a game outside of peek hours. i suggest the developers wake up before it's too late. Well then your looking for the wrong games/hosting the wrong ones....or doing something wrong. I can get a game going all the time And the developers are doing something. 2 new Demigods....v1.2...modding....more updates....ring a bell?
<
I agree completely, this light/dark distinction is retarded and irrelevant. Unfortunately it doesn't look like SD and GPG are willing to listen to reason, the community has asked for the removal of this machanic in just about every way concievable and they straight up ignore it. If they're not going to do anything, they should at least tell us why they think removing it is a bad idea.
I think the solution isn't to discourage pre-mades but get TEAM matching in which is the long term goal here.
If this is what you're going for it seems more intuitive to me to release a change that is going to make it much harder for teams to get any type of game going whatsoever closer to the time when team match making will be released. Obviously it already takes a frustrating amount of time now, otherwise you
Watch the replay before you tell me that ALL of the issues were there, the run speed thing I mentioned is most certainly not something that I've ever seen before, and it's not like this is my first time playing oak. This is more than just a pause after pen, again watch the replay.
The replay for this game can be found here: http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/replays.php?game=51&tab=upcoming&show=details&id=96648 I've noticed a few weird things since the patch, this replay illustrates them as well as showing some sort of run speed bug that I've never seen before. The first thing is the way your units respond to move orders when you have both oak and his minions selected. At around the 3:10 mark or so you will see me trying to t
I tried several times to upload a replay and keep receiving "Sorry, this replay file seems to be corrupted. This could also be caused by a new patch which changed the replay file format." The replay replays fine for me.
I've been having this problem also, although two others have uploaded fine.

Appearently not, it's been 16 days since he posted that it wouldn't be more than 2 weeks.
Replays are the only thing I'm looking forward to in this patch. As for contributing to your site, I'd be happy to upload some of my replays once I can save them.
No objections here regarding counting things like that a loss. Regarding skirmish mode... when I WAS doing alot of pantheon, I'd switch to skirmish when the pantheon ended. Not sure if others do this as well.
Yeah, if you're dropping skirmish I'd definately dramatically reduce the amount of time in between pantheon seasons, of coarse I'd do that anyway. There are no rewards or bonuses for the side
Wow, looking at the base stats for the demigod specific minions makes it pretty obvious why Oak and LE are the only two generals with viable minion builds.
I would suggest opening registration now, that way you can get an idea of how many people are interested, and you can send out a wave of emails to all of the interested people when you set the dates for the actual tournament.

1. Accurate stats/replays I know this is true separate issues, but I put them both first as I think that it's counter intuitive to release a game that you're hoping is going to be competitive without both of these features in and working flawlessly. Stats not working properly removes the "bragging rights" incentive to playing which, for most people who would play anything competitively is a pretty big issue. Replays are a critical part of a community
I also would like to see an ETA, or at least an acknowledgement that 1.1 is borked and they are working on a fix ASAP. Instead all we're getting is a request for what we want to see in 1.2. Newsflash: they already know what we wanted to see in 1.1, try dealing with that first.
This has been frustrating me for a while also.
Heart of Life - This was nerfed too much to the point where it will never be used - 12k is too much. Bring down to 9k. This is the point where you can either get this or get citadel upgrades. A toss up game.
I dissagree completely, I think it's perfect how it is now. 12k makes it exactly what it should always have been, an end game item. Since the patch
