Right now it's at 50% off deal ($14.95). However, I don't know I'll get it just for its MP portion. I already have SoSE for that :P

These are interesting questions. I'd like to know too, how good is the SP portion of the game is, if any? Thank you
When it's done :)
When you pre-order a game you do it to guarantee a copy to yourself and to start playing the SAME DAY at the RELEASE DATE, you usually don't get ANYTHING AT ALL until that time. You got something out of a pre-order (a beta/preview) and you still complain? Amazing xD
The ordering page STILL says February 4th as the release date, yet they have only just released a new beta?
The order page now reads Febreary 11th for me. We should just wait patiently, anyways. I want them to release a quality product, so they can take their time.
It's a freaking beta!... Wait until they finish to complain about "money" being charged for a "buggy product". REmember that after launch, you won't be charged again and you will get a more polished and much less buggy game.
This sounds like a firewall problem, but I could be wrong... Double check that :)
I just wanted to drop by some comments about the features announced for Entrenchment and that I think need rework or enhancements: Starbases - Each race can build its own unique starbase defensive platform. Packed with weapons, armor and other upgrades, one is capable of defending an entire planet. Starbases in their current state, are not capable of defending an entire planet. Not even close. Specially the non-Vasari
So far... Im NOT enjoying Entrenchment and how overpowered mines are (specially the ones the Vasari can create outside their own gravity well). It's really out of hand how powerless you feel when they attack your world and in less than a minute you have mine spam all around you -_- It's also retarded how you bring your fleet in with scouts, and they just SIT in the edge of the gravity well, while the rest of your fleet rush to attack BLIND and through the mine field. They better
After playing Entrenchment today in normal mode in a 2v2 map (3 AI and me), I found that when the computer plays as a Vasari especially, they turtle in the last planets they have control, with dozens, hundreds of mines which make my computer literally crawl through the battles in a very painful slide show motion. I have never had this problem before even with large fleet battles, my computer specs are above the recommended (i play fallout 3 in very high detail at a very smooth framerate).
I'm having this same issue. I can't no matter what, use the phase node stabilizers. I'm playing as vasari in a 1v1 single player mode. I'm using latest beta build 1.09
