The bottle neck could be your video card: 8600GT 256 MB. Which screen resolution do you play SINS ? Try to close all other programs: antivirus etc.

The best RTS AI (single player) is for me Rise of Nations. Great game ! [e digicons]5*[/e] SoaSE in second place. But they can still improve it.

You should save the file "English.str" in UTF8 format (instead of ANSI). It works very well for me with the french version and I suppose it should work for all other languages, too.
