I have a very similar problem with my GC2:TA. After upgrading to 2.02 it asked me to (re-)activate and it always fails, stating that I should check the serial number. The log also says something about a "failed HttpSendRequest", so I think, it's a problem on Stardock's end (esp. since you have a very similar problem). I already contacted support but haven't heard back from them yet.
Ah, thanks a lot! The notification is really missing, if that's the cause of the problem, though.
When I use a custom race (with the respective tech tree, can't think of the name of the race it belongs to) with the tech tree that contains the hypermatrix, I can't always build it. I'm not sure if I'm just missing a precondition but with some games that I start, I can build it right away, and in other games it's not listed as a build option (same custom race), and I can't think of what might cause this. Any idea whether that's a problem/oversight on my part, or a real bug? </p
