I see Neutrals advantages as better, with more trade, morale, upgraded tiles, cheaper instant buys. Its a matter of if you like war, or peace, I think. Some people prefer evil because of the weapons and production. But many laws go agaist evil, their trade is worth less, their diplomacy is naturaly lower, and are less respected by other races, and don't get morale or loyalty bonuses because the people prefer good or Neutral. Yes at this point in the game, it gets a bit silly. I belive there should always be a defense, to counter the offence. This is the problem with full tech, battles become a coin toss. because everything becomes one hit death. It kinda stinks because I want a never ending empire, but at full tech it get pointless. I guess there is no real way to fix this, except a starbase effect cap, and defences to match weapons.

I cannot get ship textures to appear. The ships without them look so blah, if thats not an understatement. I turned all other settings off even, and they still don't appear. I only have 512mb ram, but my graffics card sound card and such are no older than 5 years, even if it lagged I would turn the textures on. But they just don't work! any help?

Okay I admit, its fun to be the "BAD GUY" sometimes. But when I look around at other players, many seem to be the bad guy all the time. I would like to know, whats your choice, and why? Mine are: Neutral # 1 I prefer Neutrals bonuses, the upgraded tiles and cheaper ship buying combined with high morale owns, before actually picking a side I like them because they gain and lose some of either bonus without losing lots like with Good, or doing bad stuff

OMG : O to defend agaist invasion and get lots of taxes most my planets have between 10 and 25 billion people, lol. I may be holding armadas of troop transports but people or not liking it, my influence and production and reserch and taxes and defenses are based off my high pop. I think I may just restart, all 31 planets in my empire are covered in farms : O lol. Thanks I am gonna start a fresh game and avoid this ever happening again.

I need some help. I am playing on a gigantic galaxy, abundent on all settings, and tight clusters. I have a large empire with lots of trade and second most planets out of nine races, I am at 100% production insuring I am always on top of the other empires, and at 11% taxes am still keeping a steady flow off funds going into my pockets. my empire approval is 89%, I have frictionless clothing, and hormony crystals, and placed extream stadiums on all my planets. If you play with tight clusters, and few players, it often lets your empire be a little more seperate, from what I've seen at least. I love the slow long games though, so I usually just use the biggest and most I can get on scattered. Just remember star system scatter vs cluster makes big differances in game style too, try some combos out, and find what you like! : > Hope this helps Scorpion

Hmm... I was upset. I withdraw my out of place comment about the people of stardock being "LAZY" and "NOT CARING", I understand your out to make a profit like any other company (I believe a pack would do well for hotseat or lan MP, or adding it to GCIII). as for the comment about people being rude in the forums that still stands, since I joined people have been nothing but flat out nasty, from asking about MP to needing some help figuring out the metaverse. Wow after cruising the forums and listening to the stardock people, I figured out just how much of stuck up brats you all are, you can't add a simple IP/hotseat feature for even money for the people begging for one and your multiplayer haters because you have to hold up your petty aguement agaist the peoples facts, your rude to new members and old alike unless they agree, you hate multiplayer because your designers, and therefor out of lazyness could care less about your fans and players

SIR NASTY OF TANG has it right. because#1 the dimplomacy skill is for making it easyer to make deals with ai, would not help agaist people, and#2 they said there not making a multiplayer, so umm...there not, I exepted that.
