- "Noobs" or "Noobs Welcome" : This indicates that the game is suited for a noob. In here, Sedna's summon Yetis, Queen of Thorns don't pick Bramble shield, Oaks just stand still and hit you with Autoattack, Regulus don't fall back under 50% health and UB's follow they prey deep into the enemy base (when I say deep I mean the first 2 towers usually). ... " Pro game " or " Pros " : Usually games aimed at the top 100 of DG

Winning this game against the best players requires you to maximize your effectiveness at all points of the game. Potions are very effective for this early game. Good players will solidify their advantage very early game, often by level 5. If you really think that you have gained an advantage by forcing someone to burn a potion while you back to the fountain, you are a fool. Consider this: In the minute it takes you to run to the fountain, heal, and c
Me and my friend, we always play games together, and we are a good couple rungs above most people on the experience ladder for Demigod. I am always an Ooze beast, and he flips between a couple different Sedna builds.
Lawls.

You should have won the game earlier. If the reguli arent leaving their base, start using your two spits to drop towers and start taking down their base. Cats and giants aren't the only thing that can destroy buildings, Demigods can do it too.

HorseRadish got it right. Noobs always underestimate minions. Sedna and UB have no ranged aoe so when they attack your minions because they are "too easy to kill", you just micro the low hp minions around while you pound on their DG. If they are about to kill a shambler, you mulch it. Every hit they make on a minion is one less against you. The only real threat those enemies could bring to a heavy minion build is if UB focused in ooze, but thats why

You can reply to that or look for me in game tonight.

Why not get God Strength instead of attributes? Also, have you tried using Warpstone with this build instead of (or in addition to) Journeyman Treads? In good hands, it makes landing roll/slam combos or just slams very easy. It changes the battle entirely because they never know when you will suddenly be behind them swinging the hammer. Its good for escaping bad situations as well.

I have had some success playing a similar mist/minion build against human opponents. I originally tried it as a joke/gimmick but I have not lost a game yet with this build so I will mini-guide it here for you. Quick Request: If you want to post: "This wont work against skilled opponents", please try this strat or at least defeat it in the hands of a good player first so that you have some experience to base that on, then phrase your post "This wont work against s

You guys seem to be forgeting that uproot is not channeling , you can cast and forget it while rook has to get right up on the tower and take hits to deal his damage. Try maxing uproot damage with compost (which does not require you to get the kills as someone suggested, but merely be near grunts that die) then doing a hit and run strategy. Uproot has longer range than the tower so you can cast it at the beginning of a

Great guide. Whether you like to play this style or not, this is extremely good stuff to know, especially since you will probably have to fight a build like this eventually. It hit the spot too. I just got done posting that I wished there was a source for minion damage information. +1 For effort, usefulness of information, and pioneering some Demigod Mathcrafting

Agreed, SubtleSalmon. I would like to know how much DPS I am getting out of my minions. HP you can get indirectly by hovering over them but it would be nice to find it elsewhere.

Add: Beejnr I dont have a designated teammate (unfortunately my RL friends who play this dont seem interested enough to play against tougher opponents). I am trying to get a team going and until then would be happy to fill a slot if you have an odd number of players. Yes, I can hold my own; I played league/clan war Dota for years. @ iPhire I would be down for helping get a "good or at least enthusiastic" player community started if you and others are i

A note to people like Miyamiya who seem to have missed the point: This is one strategy, one possible method, one possible build, one possible path to victory. I am open to criticism and tweaking, but you essentially read the word "push" then "early" then tried to tell me I was doing it wrong, cats push better than everything else. I may be doing it wrong , but I can tell you that this is one way to be

PUSHER DG BUILDS: I will only post those I have been successful with. I am sure there are others and you can customize these to your style. Oak: Skills: Raise Dead Ward (Ward) Soul Power (Power) Divine Justice (Justice) / Penitence Ward Penitence / Justice (whichever you didnt take at 3) Power Ward <li

Lately I have been experimenting with some push (kill towers, cap portal flags) builds and strategies which I will share for your thoughts. Every game (~3-4 per build) I am drawing from here was played in pantheon, skirmish, or custom game, with 2v2 or 3v3 human player lineups. My team won 90% of these games before anyone reached level 15 (usually 1 DG on the team gets levelled above everyone else; most DGs, our team and theirs are around 10 when the game ends). OV

I think its been proven already that the following formula is foolproof: 1) Go pure DPS 2) Unload all your damage 3) Win Duels vs. Hard AIs 4) Farm up a couple Artifacts 5) Own a couple of comp-stomps with your friends 6) Post on forums that all DPS builds are the way to go Try playing pantheon or team up your friends vs. an equal team then get back to us. There is a huge difference between duels and team battles, Comps and Pl

I experienced the exact same thing in a game I played QoT (me) v. Regulus. I dominated early, controlling the entire middle, outleveling him quickly. However, he eventually surpased me in levels, despite my constant harrassment. I did end up winning (got giants, we were both 20, I controlled artifact hut enough to prevent him from getting them and keep me supplied) though not nearly as quickly as I should have. Here is what I learned from that game: 1)

Proto, You dont seem opposed to builds in general, just walking into a game with your build already decided. Is it not prudent to, once you understand what is needed in a game (e.g. DPS, support, pushing, mobility, w/e) have a proven (or at least practiced) strategy for fufilling the role you set for yourself? For example, How much tweaking are you really doing in game with characters like Erebus where you basically choose to buff your nightwalkers or ignore them?&
