I live in North Dakota, I was actually disappoointed to find out that there are no offices in this state (wouldnt be the first time ND was not in a list), I REALLY REALLY wanted to protest. Recently the duracell bettery wore out and I escaped, I was going to dress up as xenu, and use my new aeiou meter to seek and destroy thetan souls.

This should have probbly been posted in the entertainment forum, it is probably too funny for the religious forum. This is L.R; Hubberds story about the origins of Scientology/.Mankind? Of course, it is supposed to be a double secret doctrine of scientology, and only those who obtain Level OT II are supposed to know about it. I wonder if Tom Cruise&John Travolta have reached this level? Here it, sit down get comfortable, and definatly do not drink any milk while reading this.<b

A faster way oif finding out about an episode, is to read the transcripts: Here is one http://www.losthatch.com/transcripts.aspx I have seen better ones, where it is a littl more descriptive then just a transcript.

One thing about the "Tree of Knowledge" that is always passed over, is that it is not called the "Tree of Knowledge", it is called the "Tree of Knowledge of Goo and Evil". Which to me means, Knowledge of right from wrong. So if we had no knowledge of right/wrong, what exactly was wrong with eating the apple? Not that any of this really matters, but God was there when the snake talked to Eve, he knew exactly what was happening.. WHY WHY WHY did he get pissed?
Since the KKK, as an organization, has NOT been eliminated, the comparison isn't valid.
Again, for the third time?, your right, it has not been eliminated, but it is probably the most damaging thing that has happened to them. Do you disagree with this? While I did say 'Yes I am comparing them to the KKK", I thought everyone one be able to use a little comprehension, and assume I meant that in the context of sueing them.

LW, I changed the subtitle again, I was not aware of the rule, hope this satisfies your sense of respect for other JUs. We all know that the rules where written to show respect for each other, and they should be followed to the T, if not the intent. I am surew that you follow all the rules to the T (if not the intent), your level of respect of other JUs often shines thru. Is LW OK (above), or can I use your full user name, wasn't sure about the rules, so I just used L
Problem is, his incoherent ramblings do not quite allow us actually to understand what exactly his opinion about Scientology and what his point is. Maybe he has heard somewhere that Scientolofy is bad.
Let me attempt to communicate at your level/ My post had nothing to do with the KKK, your the one that some how made this a post about the KKK, I even pointed that out in my first response, then your the one that went postal and started ranting. I changed my typo
Little Whip:How mature.
Why thank you little whip, that means a lot coming from you. Your maturity just shines thru when I read some of your titles/subtitles. Again thank you, your comment brings a tear to my eye. As far as the rest of it...yeah I know, but it was one of the more damaging things ever done to the KKK.
leauki worte: Of course you do. I IN NO WAY SUPPORT THE KKK, I see that I left out a word in my subtitle, I edited it to better reflect my intent. Sorry for any misunderstanding about my subtitle. KKK, was sued over and over, until financially they were eliminated. Leaiuk wrote: If you don't know how much damage Scientology can cause, why do you compare them to the KKK? I don't understand your question, I believe Scientology can cause much damage, just like the KKK. I compare them to the KKK for t

Yes, I am comparing it to the KKK, which as an organization, has pretty much been eliminated. I think Scientology could be eliminated in the same manor. As a religion, they are protected, but financialy they could be hurt. They have been successfully sued several times. Just wondering if you have any good links to how scientology has been set back, or examples of how much damage scientology can cause.

Lula said...Here's a very plausible explanation of Noah's drunkeness..... You no longer have ANY credibility, this is the 3rd or 4th time you have been caught making things up (in this thread alone). How old are you exactly? You have just become a prime example of why evolution does NOT work. the strongest argument I have run across, it just can not be denied.

Zoo, don't you find it amazing how irrational some people can be? Notice how he didn't have any comments about my questioning of why Jesus opened a can of whoop ass on the vendors in the church? Apperently, that is only a habit of Jesus, not an instinct. Pure rationasl thought on his part. I once saw an episode of cops where a customer opened a can of whoop ass on a store owner. I wonder if that customer was thinking rationally about how Jesus did the same.

lulapilgrim, I guess I don't know what else to say on this subject. You say we live on rational thought. I say that most of the time, we live on instinct. You even seem to be saying that the flight or fight instinct doesn't even exist in humans.
humans have free will, an intellectual capacity and a conscience to understand good from evil.
Unless there4 is a little bit of stress, I am sure if you look for a study, you will find one that shows that the rational part of the brain is not working, under stressful conditions. However the instinctual part of the brain is active. That would be the some evidence of what I stated....humans revert to instinct under stress. If you want non scientific evidence, lik
My point here is that the human species alone procreates; animals only breed!
Rape, Pillage, Plunder, procreate or breed, you decide. How can you not see that we are just animals?\ Acts like an animal. Eats like an animal. Reproduces like an animal. Kills like an animal. Sh-ts like an animal.
Oh, c'mon, SomewhereinND! This is simple biology 101. Instinct is an inborn behavior that is built into an animal's nervous system and cannot be changed. When we humans get riled over something, we don't revert to instinct..we lose our self-control.
I guess, I am confused, of you observe an animal reverting to instinct, and a human looseing self control, Is there a difference? Visually, do you see anything different? There is the inital strike back.<b

lulapilgrim/KFC On my little pressure comment...you have seemed to blow by my comment with out thinking about it. I obviously really didnt mean 'a little pressure', I was just trying to make a point, that it is very easy to make someone revert to pure instinct 'fight or flight'. Am I wrong about this? Do I need to point out examples? It happens 100s of times a day, how many examples can you point out where someone just 'turns the other cheek'? Even KFC said earlier

Man has free will to direct his own life...animals operate on instinct. NO he does not!! That is my point. A little stress, and reason thought logic go out the door. We revert to instinct, then later say the devil did it. Another example that does not involve 'evil' would be...a little pressure and we can't even carry on a simple conversation.

While Intellegent Design is an all incompassing, explains evrything theory...Theory of Evolution is not, why do creationists insist on saying the the theory of evolution needs to cover everything? It would be irresponsible from a scientific point of view to come up with the Mother Of All Theories...When Darwin came up with the theory of evolution, I don't believe the big bang theory existed.
