Looking forward to this...

Stick with DA until they figure out a way to keep TA from crashing. It may just be me though...
I rarely fight dread lords, but whenever I do, I prefer small fighters, even in DA. Load 'em up with max weapons and make them into fleets, but MAKE SURE the total fleet attack is greater than said Dread Lord's hp's, or you're just going to have wasted the fighters. Some people have tried making monsterously big capitals, but the cost in that is so high, it would be one on one, or worse. Make sure your economy is revving as well.
I just want it to quit crashing. Think I may go back to Dark Avatar and turn off the music.
Kudos! Love the H-wing design.
I would like to see "Hotseats" added to the game, where you would play a round, and then a buddy would sit down and take his turn. To be able to do that and take on AI's would be very, very cool. I read that Civ 4 had this feature. I would love to see it in GalCiv 2. One other thing: Enhanced combat AI. I hate the fact that all the AI transports come single file, or in pairs guarded by an obsolete ship>
I prefer to fight the Yor than play as them, but keep in mind your super ability (DA/TA?) which can greatly assist in the above strategies. Whatever you do, don't forget to have an "evil buddy" to trade with and support your war machine. Miniaturization is also important, it means you can fit more stuff. As for battlefield tactics, a few well placed scouts are always helpful when moving in for the kill. Nothing worse than suddenly discovering a big, fat, Terran dreadnought hiding out of sensor r
I think that many nations won't leave earth, Kenya for example. Others, like America and China, will strike out on their own. There may be EU-like coalitions exploring space. But I sincerly doubt hyperspace travel will unite mankind. Just look at the Palestinians picking on the Israelites. They could go anywhere, but they want that one spot.
About the planet swindle... I tried it and it took a loooong time to flip back even with a influence SB overhead. Other than that, very useful!
My Internet's messed up as well, the CD will probably arrive sometime in late April/Early May. I think the release date is in April.
