Hello, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum, but I'll cut to the chase. I recently installed Windows onto my MacBook Pro to run Sins Rebellion, as you can't with the Mac's operating system. As I am sure I will run into some issues first placing this, my problem is that my screen resolution is very dodgy. I enter the menu with an outrageously small screen resolution to where I can barely read the options. I will enter video to adjust my settings. Once I find th

Following up on my earlier post of trying to download the Galaxy Forge, i CANNOT extract and place the forge or any other downloaded content for the game to the respectable place. When i attempt to extract files and i browse for "Sins of a Solar Empire" , no file or list appears with the game or the contents pertaining to the game. I am NOT a computer whiz, and i'll take ANY assistance whatsoever,if anyone has any suggestions, be it an error of installing the game, or a personal error of my o
As straightforward as downloading this mod sounded,i've run into a rough patch. I have very minimal experience in downloading patches and mods, in fact the only experience i would have in it is adding addons to World of Warcraft. I'm receiving a message identifying this download as an "RAR" file, and that i either need to find a source online to unlock it, or something installed on my computer. The big thing i'm worried about is safety, and i just want to download this so i can get on to conq
Dear readers, I am at a loss on a certain oddity in Galciv II Dark Avatar. When I access "New Game" then when I come to the design your own civ page, I find a button under the appearance page that shows a "Create ship design" button (under the ship styles selection). It appears to me as if the button is useless because its grey indicating its unusable. I was curious if this was to design all of the base ships in a civ that you design yourself. Straight to the question, What is this?
sushistrip I disagree. Although they are very annoying, I was able to take back the 37 planets they took control of. Sure it took a few years on the game, which is like a couple hours to us, but I was just starting out.
I think Minor Races are a decent idea for the game, and really do save your life in the beginning for trade, but I don't think they were given enough intelligence, at any difficulty whatsoever. Minor races need to be upgraded from a primitive npc to a race that can interact with others more efficiently so to speak.
I've become aware of this option as well. Though I've never had to fall back on this trade due to focusing on Research for awhile, I suggest try trading all the planets controlled by yourself in said star system.
Thank you very much sole soul for explaining that to me, i'm definitely not the computer type nor do I have much of a concept on how this kinda stuff works.
The AA is set at what its been since i've installed it, does anyone have any suggestions on what to bump it down to? and whismerhill thank you very much for the assistance.
Yes sole soul you're right. I mean yes I'm expecting alot from integrated graphics but It does meet the games requirements as well as passing it.
Im sorry i did not clarify, I haven't had an issue since the last time I was on it, yet it was more random than anything, I have been playing it for awhile today and it has only happened once today. IT seems to happen everytime I get on but only once or twice, i just want to fic this problem.

when i doulble click it, i receive a message asking if i want to manually select the program to run it on or allow windows to select automatically online. where do I go from there?
the error says, " galciv2 has stopped working, the program has stopped working and windows will notify you if there is a solution."
Yes, I have obtained all updates for Dark Avatar, its just I'm not really great with computers and I'm having a hard time understanding what the debug program is and how to use it.
The version is Dark Avatar, I did have technical problems with the game on my older computer, but it was about 8 years out of date. But the error occurs when I begin a game or the campaign, and normally during the loading screen or about five minutes or so after The game has begun, it says that Galciv2 has stopped working, giving me the error report. And I don't have a clue on how to fix it.
I've installed Galciv2 to my new computer. It meets all requirements for the game, and it runs smoothly, but I keep getting error reports. This is a newer computer and does run on Vista. I have obtained all new updates but I am still having issues during the game where the game just stops working. I was curious if anyone might know if there are modifications I can get to fix this problem.
