I just lost a long post so I'm very very mad. :( Ok: 1. Fix MCC make it so that it does what it is supposed to do 2. Allow us to change the "date" into "turns" (like in civ where you can have it display either 2000AD, turn 740 or even both, whatever you choose in the settings) 3. Make new anomalies appear, perhaps have half or a third of anomalies reswap in semi-random places. 4. Make more different things happen when you explore an anomaly. Thins co

This may be an odd question but why dosen't Stardock just bundle this mod with patches for the French version?

If I remember right the Humans and Alterans were originaly considered practicaly one species, there was even refference to them having practically the same DNA. Is this a retcon?

The beginning is a very delicate time. Know then that it is the year 2302. The Known Universe is ruled by the People's Democracy of Earth. The most precious knowledge in the galaxy are faster than light travel and stellar cartography both are greedily guarded by the monopolistic planet of Earth also known as the Ocean Planet. <span style="" lang="EN

People are going to flame me but Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri with updated AI would be the perfect gaming experience.
something that temporarily stops fusion reactions in the sun it is the fusion reaction that is keeping the star from going black hole. thus if you stop the reaction you have a black hole. and although a black hole is more dangerous than a super nova. that is not what the weapon description states.
I said temporarily, like the sun destroyer weapon of Star Trek: Generations

This is one of the most interesting mods in a long time! I loved Alpha Centauri and I've been wishing for a Civ4 final frontier AC mod. These may be a few helpful suggestions: -You are right Good & Evil don't realy play a role in SMAC, it's not black and white, its about conflicitng ideologies. -What if you simulate Social Engineering and interactional ideological strife through events? Just make a new set of choices, and tie each decision to an ideology. It

I agree with Vinraith, its a very fun event for me. I realy can't understand why the devs who allow us to customize soo many parts of the game would not allow us to select the mega events that are to going to be allowed in our game. There is no reason not to do this. If they are afraid that it spoils the suprise for new players they should just make the game remeber which events the player has experienced and add them to the list of mega events that can be turned off or on.
Nothing TA-specific, but a little green "Earth-like" icon for those planets that are habitable by all without any colonization tech... just to make things consistent
There really isn't a good reason for not doing this even in DA, so I second this little suggestion.
Overemphasizing religion in GC2 would increase the risk of real world attention to Stardock from offended fanatics. It's just not worth it. If we want to be uberpoliticaly correct, lets not have a religius system but a philosphical system, we already have a good vs. evil divide, different et

At least a minority of Humans will most certainly still be religius a century or two from now. The Torians were a pre-industrial society and were enslaved brutaly; that has to be a fertile ground for religion to develop. The Krox may have a uniqe view on religion, a buisness that keept the lower classes in line, and is now used to exploit off-worlders (it could drain credits from any planet with their religion and give them to the Krox goverment or maybe it could be spread via trade ro
Yor pay taxes as energy. Shouldn't it be that they are provided with energy so they do work? And how many of us are actually able to produce their own energy on a large scale.
Ever played SMAC? For a future society energy IS money. You need to dispens energy credits to "buy" items, since it takes energy to build those items. It also takes energy to power any private veihcle you have, you're home computer, to grow you're f

If you are reffering to Austro-Hungary, they were quite powerful with an even stronger ally, perhaps like Japan or the UK today. Anyway WWI wa
