How to use the Taskbar Pins in Start Menu Products Stardock Forums

Is there a video guide or something for using taskbar pins...when i use the "pin folder" feature and select a folder i want pinned...nothing changes on my taskbar...is there a refresh that's suppose to happen...nothing changes. i can drag n drop a folder to the taskbar no problem. i was looking to try out "pin folder menu" to have "kinda" like stacks on the taskbar...or am i not understanding the feature...as i cant make any changes to actually see what any of it does? start11 v2</

Can't disable the user icon when using windows blinds 11 in Start Menu Products Stardock Forums

I'm using both Start 11 and Windowsblinds 11. If I use Start11 by itself i can disable the user icon on the right side in the start menu...but if I'm using both applications, the toggle "Show the user icon when the style supports it" does nothing. I believe Windowsblinds 11 is overriding the setting and would like to request a fix or setting to force the off the user icon in the start menu, no matter what theme is chosen. My current theme is Win8.

Rquest to hide or remove start menu button on taskbar in Start Menu Products Stardock Forums

I'm wondering if it would be possible to have start 11 hide or remove the start button from the taskbar?...Start Killer and Start is Gone no longer work. If there is no such feature can i get a request to add it...For people who use the taskbar strictly as a dock...The start button takes away from that idea. Thank you.

the taskbar can handle 32x32 without increasing its size. the current size is 24x24. why Microsoft chose smaller icons than its previous os w7, i don't know. i just know it fixes a certain irritation when showing text when the taskbar is pinned to the sides. also i'm aware of the combine icons on taskbar would achieve the same thing. but from a productivity stand point, its a step backwards. i want all icons shown its just easier to use at a glance.

i know, i need larger than normal icons, not a larger taskbar. size of the taskbar it fine...your competitors have this option. i was wondering if you could add it to your product because i like the start menu variety ie 7-11 menus.

Can we get the ability to adjust the size of the icon in the taskbar? when i have the taskbar pinned to the side, there is text that shows sometimes, with startisback you can up the icon size from 24x24 to 32x32 to block out the text. 7+ taskbar tweaker has this ability stetting called w10_large_icons to accomplish this as well.

in start 11...the start menu tab...you have a choice of "windows 7 style" "modern style" "windows 10 style" "windows 11 style" i selected to use the "windows 7 style" with the substyle "windows 7 style" in the left hand column of that menu, if i drag n drop my folder sholder and/or shortcuts they pin to that column with a jump list. see in my picture...i want those jump lists gone...also see the last shortcut...no jump list...its very inconsistent on why or why not that they ge

can we get the ability to disable all jump lists for all shortcuts in the windows 7 style start menu? its really bothering me that only some shortcuts do this with no rhyme or reason and i really have no need or use for the jump list myself. i just want to turn it off.

fair enough...im hoping that 1.1 comes along with the ability to uncombine taskbar icons, as its really the only reason i use explorer patcher at all. then i can ditch it and use start11 exclusively, as i haven't seen any of the transparency bugs by itself. but there is one cool thing they do together and startallback just introduced was the ability to keep the start button centered but have the icons uncombined...its perfect this way...for me anyway.

maybe it depends on order the of installation of both programs, like explorer patcher/start11 locks certain processes or something... i am using the the same build and the latest explorer plus start11 1.0 and when i change any setting related to color or blur, either on the start menu or taskbar of start11...the w11 taskbar color goes to black, no transparency... i can however reset the default mica transparency on the taskbar if i open the default w11 start menu, middle click or restar
