Thanks for mentioning that TaskBar Tweaker - installed it and now I have no idea how I went so long without it. This is fantastic!

Also seeing the rampant CPU usage, extreme lag in Explorer and on the Desktop, etc. after just a few minutes running Fences 3.16. After a downgrade to 3.1.3.3, all the issues went away, so I'll be sticking with that version for now until there's a fix ready. I made a related post where I originally reported this behavior, thinking it might be Groupy 2. Strangely, restarting the Stardock Groupy service in Ser
Problem Seeing some major memory leak behavior after a while, where all UI interactions in Explorer, especially hovering and clicking items, starts to see 100-300ms+ lag. Restarting the Stardock Groupy service in Windows Services seems to have solved the issue, so I suspect it's a memory leak since it gets freed and starts fresh by restarting it. I've caught this happening repeatedly after about 1-2 days. I keep my machine running 24/7. <
I'm not sure which version I was using before, but whatever the most current was just before 2.06. I updated to 2.06 today.
Very sorry to necro this thread, but I just ran into this today in the middle of playing Elden Ring while I was fighting something. It caused me to die and lose some progress. The Start11 updater window appeared over the game (since it's borderless windowed). I decided to let the update download in the background, and then the installer window appeared over the game a 2nd time! Why is Start11 and its updater/installer taking priority over everything else and displaying over fu
Woot! This makes me very excited! Love the reflections. Great job Stardock!
Firefox 3 FTW! :) So far, I love it! WinCustomize renders without any noticeable errors for me.
What about Flash files? (swf) Flash a LOT of capability towards making dynamic content and animations. They may not be 3D (unless you use Papervision 3D), but they could be REALLY cool! I remember a long time ago, a company released a Flash wallpaper application and I wanted it but I didn't wanna buy it so I said the heck with it, but if this was included with DeskScapes, that would rock! Stardock, consider this for future releases! How hard would it be? Load a SWF,
LOL! I totally know what you mean! I think I did that at Walmart or somewhere else the other day... I waved my hand in front of the paper towel dispenser and ... nothing. Then I saw on the front, it said, "If there are no paper towels, crank the knob on the right." *smack!* Hehe!
Whoa what do you use to have Stacks for Windows? That's awesome!
Photoshop CS3 all the way! (And yes, I really did buy it) I love everything I can do on Photoshop because it's so powerful and easy to use once you get used to it! There are a bunch of Layer modes to use, (Overlay, Multiply, Screen, etc.) there's a lot of things you can do with Layer styles like Outer Glow, Inner Glow, Drop Shadow, Bevel/Emboss, Overlays, etc. which make things look so awesome once you tune them. deviantArt is FULL of user-made brushes for the Phot
You know what would be really awesome for CursorFX as an addition to its coolness and features? Motion blurring of the mouse cursor... That would be amazing! The reason I bring this up is because I was playing around with my Flash motion blur project and got to thinking, it would be SO neat to have a mouse cursor that motion blurs when it moves instead of trailing, and whatnot. It's a cool-looking effect that a lot of people enjoy seeing. It's an added feature to
Very well said. :D I would also pay $20 for the additional features. The map and email features probably took a little work to get them perfected for such a wide audience. Though they may seem quite simple, they are NICE features! Especially the map part... I don't own an iPhone, but I own a small word-of-mouth computer repair business, and without Google Maps, I would be screwed. It would be nice, if I did have an iPhone, to be able to use it as a GPS. But, I got a GPS fo
My referring of users gains me points in my profile (250, to be exact!) I'm not promoting this website for the points, in all honesty, but rather for the fun it brings! It's not at a booming status right now, so more users will add much more excitement to it as more competitions arise for many to be involved in. However, I did include my referrer link because the site administrator suggested it in the promotion of this website. The first post I posted about this site in the G

I keep having problems with some of the editors. Like, I'll go to painting margins in almost anything and occasionally the program will just freeze or go into this really slow state... and when I click on anything in the painting margins settings, it keeps doing it... I try restarting the program, reopening the skin, and it does the same thing, rendering the program useless and leaving me unable to continue making my visual style... any thoughts? Here is a screenshot of what I mean:<br
I don't know if it's DeskScapes or my Intel GMA 950 in my laptop, but running ANY 3D DeskScape (Bouncing Cube, or Desktop Earth for instance), it simply wont work. All it does is shows the last DeskScape (that works) or background that I used frozen as my desktop background. I have the latest Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 drivers from Intel's website. My games work just fine (WoW, etc.) Any suggestions? DeskScape bug? Driver bug? Video card too crappy? (I woul
Works perfectly line in Firefox, it doesn't quite like my IE7 ... I like it a lot though, it's much faster than ye olde DA too!
I was quite impressed with a few new features shown in the keynote, such as Time Machine, and Spaces, and the Backdrops in iChat, however I have never owned a Mac, and probably never will. But, like everyone else is saying, and Paul is saying, they surely aren't breakthroughs... which they are calling their new features probably because of the graphical appeal that they provide to the end-user. Time Machine's implementation of Core Animation is quite
Oh dang, thank God... it said April Fools. I would have disowned Stardock if they did this... Seriously. Lol, nice one Wincustomize!
So far, so good! The Arrow theme is looking awesome! There is one thing I noticed, however. I really can't supply a screenshot, showing the cursor as it is hidden using print screen... (and I'm too lazy to grab some snapper program), but if I put my cursor approximately 8 pixels over a window border, in order to resize it, it finally appears as the Up-Down arrow. If I have my cursor ON the border, to resize it, it still shows the normal c
People could easily create new accounts more and more, and download the skin/theme on each account. The method of judging is too faulty....
For #1, is there anything like openMosix for Windows machines? I would like to combine a couple of my PCs' power and experiment with it using my network maybe. USB? Any ideas?
Now that's technology with graphics! If DesktopX can utilize Avalon in that easy way, the possibilities with displaying awesome 3d/2d content will almost be endless.
