I have tried many RTS and after the first few levels trying to keep track of all the units, the building, the battles ...it just is nuts. It like a TBS on CRACK. I am not saying I hate RTS or they are crap, they are just for the more ADD players (unlike myself). I like to think and plan - there is no planning in RTS in the later levels, it just CLICK,CLICK,CLICK......or that is the way I see it. TBS: Well, I just got GalCiv II and I am really enjoying it. VGA Planets (I am currently not in a game) - but it is the best multiplayer TBS 4x game I have every played. If you want GalCiv II for multiplayer, well this is it. I have been playing it since the mid-late 90s. Steel Panthers (I still have this on my laptop - great game) Wish they would redo the graphics. John Tiller's Campagin Series (West Front / East Front ) another great TBS.
