For crying out loud wheres the info on the espionage? This update is suppose to be focused on espionage and all we get is tech brokering? Listen folks and I'm speaking for most GALCIVII players, we will stop playing this game sooner or later if we don't get a good espionage system, I certainly haven't playes this game ever since I first heard of 2.0 that was going to make a huge change to espionage. I think folks here are being too nice! This 2.0 u

Mine is some crazy percentage too. My trade revenue isn't out of the ordinary though.
You take the good with the bad when you select random events as an option. Your someone who doesn't like this event, I'm someone who finds this type of event a fun challenge. Different people like different things.
There's a defect in one of their buildings I've submitted as a bug. The "Cathedral of Valor" is supposed to give a 2% civ wide bonus to soldiering, and a 33% defense to the planet it is built on. You can build as many as you like, essentially making your soldiers invincible/planets impossible to invade. Unfortunately if you look at the XML, the 33% to defense doesn't exist and as I just confirmed today, NO Civ wide bonuses apply on buildings that are of type "No
A Civilization Wide bonus to miniaturization on a Planetary Improvement that is NOT a Super Project does not work. It works once it's changed to a super project. Is this intended? Examples: I build Hyperion Shrinker and have all the way up to Ultimate Miniaturization researched. I have 90% miniaturization Racial Bonus and when I use the template for colony ship, I have 114 space available. I attempt to build "Miniaturization Lab" a custom planetary

Don't know if this helps diagnose the problem at all, but when I went into options and unchecked the following options, it stopped happening: (Interface Tab) Uncheck: Full Fleet Battles Show Full Fleet Battles only if Both sides are Fleets Auto-Play Full Battles Show Orbiting ship in planet in normal and quick battles I unchecked them all at the same time so I didn't narrow it down, but at least its a starting point.

Just sent in a save Kryo.
This happens to me. What is causing it for me is after a ship auto-attacks an enemy, that ship gets "stuck". If I left click on the ship that last attacked, it moves and everything goes back to normal. If I cannot find that ship, however, my turn button remains gone and I have to save/quit. I have to repeat this process after every ship attack.
New game, different computer, same problem. Once auto attack engages an enemy, the ship gets stuck until you left click on it. Anyone else having this issue?
In the Improvement Editor that comes bundled with the game, it says "Breif Description" instead of "Brief Description".
I'm having a little problem since I've installed TA that is turning into a bigger, more annoying problem by the minute. I use Auto Survey, Auto Explore, and Auto Attack frequently. Everything in my game was going just ducky until I set about 15-20 single ships on Auto-Attack mode. All ships moved fine until they reached clusters of the enemies planets. Once they started auto-attacking orbiting ships, they started to hang up. What I mean is that they have 4 movement points. They would
On Vista 32 bit the path is the same for the reg key, but on my Vista 64 bit machine the path was: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Stardock\Drengin.net\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar
If I purchase a digital download of the expansion, is there an easy way to backup the downloaded file for future re-installation? Or, once its active on my Stardock account will it just re-DL the whole thing if I ever have to reformat?
I've done some research on the autosave/memory error & crash, which may be related to your problem depending on the galaxy size and your low amount of memory (512MB)...what I gather is due to the fact that each process can only have at max 2 gigs of memory allocated to it (RAM + Paging File), and that on gigantic/abundant maps it exceeds that limit occasionally, it causes the game to crash out. This cap is due to the game being 32-bit, and the way Microsoft memory management handles 32-
Yes, I said Vista and 64 bit OS users are out of luck because looking further into it, Vista doesn't have a boot.ini file to support the switch, and on that PAE page you linked it says this feature is not available in 64 bit operating systems. But this will be great for people who have XP and are getting this error.
Looks like that may help the Windows XP Home/Professional users...Vista users are out of luck it seems though...and XP 64 bit users are out of luck as well. Good find, thanks for that info Loupdinour.

Same thing happens to me, but new video card driver didn't fix it (already had newest installed).
