tell him it has nothing to do with the new router. I have verizon too and my router is a few years old.

if you want each weapon to be a separate file, you must make an xml file with this code:
DisplayName,Description,Model,Thumbnail,Animation,FlavorText0,FlavorText1,FlavorText2,FlavorText3,FlavorText4,FlavorText5 <Trans
to edit ship modules (including weapons, engines etc.), you must edit the GC2types.xml if you want to increase the amount made from trade routes, make techs that increase "TradeRoutesAbility" -Dave
look in your default DL mods folder and their should be a folder named "default." copy that folder to whichever mod directory you are using (DL/mods, DA/mods, TA/mods) and rename it to whatever you want your mod to be called. then within that folder there is a file called "ModDescription.xml". Open it in notepad and change these 2 values:
[DESCRIPTION OF
have fun with your new tech tree
you could either put it in a new mod directory in galciv2/twilight/mods or in the galciv2/twilight/data/tech trees folder
correct as usual uncle friday. [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]

It looks like the old not text in the mod selection box bug. Just click around inside the mod selection box and the descriptions for the mod you've selected should appear on the right side.
to stop the colony rush, just make the colonization module require a tech that the AI has to research. This is done in TBL
If you want more BC, then follow foxthree's advice.
well, a tech with a -100 EconomicsAbility that all races start with, would definitely slow down everyone's economy.
means that is impossible to get a really slow, epic game...
This isn't true at all. you could make everything more expensive so that 3000bc acts more like 300bc or you could change the layout of the tech tree, so that more advanced techs are much more expensive. thus, slowing down the pace of the game. -Dave
If that's what you want, my advice is to wait for The Bringers of Light. The plan to is to do exactly as you have stated with weapons. The demo will hopefully be out by sometime this summer. Oh, btw, you can learn more about the mod at tbl.impulsedriven.net or at I-mod-productions.com -Dave
Good luck! if you need any help, I-Mod-Productions is a great place to look.
Hope you all enjoy it. In fact that is why everyone makes mods, is for the public to enjoy it. I don't claim to design this mod, I just helped bring it together. If anyone can lay claim to a mod, it would be Stardock, since everything is based off their game engine.
A mod is the property of its creator, so you have no right to STEAL all these peoples' property!
most of the editors TA shipped with are useless. Just wait for GalCiv2 IDE II. It's compatible with mods for DL, DA, and TA. It works amazingly! ...i think you'd agree zyx ;) -Dave
What's the matter . . . don't they pay you enough scratch at Stardock?
He is stardock! [e digicons]:snowman:[/e]
