DRM implemented through an obfuscator is still DRM; Impulse is much more sinister; Stardock owns and operates the datacenters, and openly admits to logging IPs and associating everything they can with it, mining data for gawd knows who, and no one polices the bytecode. I can't make heads or tails of it. I figured I'd have a look through my registry and sure enough there were still invalid shared component entries; references to the files I'd renamed to nullify (see above). Fixed those, made sure OD was going to load at startup to best have a chance at hooking the notification area (i.e. "systray"), rebooted, still nothing.
